Zach's introduction to photography started through taking pictures at the skatepark and being inspired by skate magazines. He was drawn to the way they used light and included the environment in the imagery.

Zach studied Photographic Imaging at Art Institue of Atlanta, where he fell in love with southern food & studio photography. Eventually moved back to his home in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys skiing, skating, and contributing to Restaurants through Food Photography.

Zach met his wife, Ali at a wedding reception when a guest mentioned to Ali "You should say hi to the photographer, he has an adventure cat". Since then, it has been a wedding photographer's dream come true for these two.

Ali is a Portland native who loves to travel. In her free time, she enjoys caring for animals; mainly cats & dogs. She enjoys hiking in the backcountry and loves to promote a greener world with less waste.

Ali studied Romance Language at The University of Oregon which included a Study Abroad Program in Seville, Spain. She enjoys watching international films given her ability to translate Spanish, French, and Italian; no subtitles needed!

Zach met Ali when a guest mentioned to him "Hey you should talk to that girl sitting by you at the reception. She's hiking Mount Saint Helens next weekend and she has a really cool cat". The rest has been a dream come true for these two!
