We at W8 Photography offer an artistic and creative touch while thoroughly documenting every detail of your wedding. As opposed to many other photographers, we do not rely on a set formula for the day. Each and every wedding is unique, and we work to photograph each one in a beautifully distinctive way to perfectly suit the couple's style and personalities together. We unobtrusively capture everything, including the spontaneous smiles and tears from various angles while still focusing in on the key moments. We develop a comfort level with the bride and groom, their wedding party, and guests so that the pictures we take truly document the real moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

About Alex:

Alex has taken photography classes at NYU and studying photography and media at New Jersey City University. In 1998, he started professionally photographing weddings.He was selected to be a participant at the prestigious Missouri Photo Workshop sponsored by the University of Missouri, Nikon, and Fuji and the Eddie Adams Workshop. Both workshops focus on fostering the craft and art of photojournalism.

He has been professionally photographing weddings for over 20 years now, and his enthusiasm is just as strong if not stronger than it was the day he picked up his first camera.

About Nicole:

Nicole majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Rollins College. At the same time as enjoying literature and writing, she focused quite a bit on photo and art history classes. After college, she took a number of photography classes at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in NYC. The ICP was a great way to expand my photography knowledge even further.

In 2004, she started in an assistant/second shooter role for a studio in Montclair.

About Alex and NIcole:

After meeting, they discovered that they worked unbelievably well together and even better as a couple. In 2008, they developed W8 Photography and started building the business. In 2009, they got married and have continued growing and building the business together.
