She named her business after her grandmothers Violet and Dottie, who shared a deep appreciation for the simple things in life. Their memories remind Ashley to never forget to stop and smell the roses.

Before Violet and Dottie Florals was a full time business, it began as a side hobby helping friends and family with their weddings.
After 15 years of working in oilfield based sales, I took a leap and began pursuing my dream full time. Owning my own flower shop was a dream I had since I was a little girl and I am so happy to share my passion with you.
I studied floral design in San Antonio and have had the honor of working with several talented designers around the area. I enjoy spending time with other floral designers and learning different ways and techniques of the trade that I can use to help make my clients dreams and visions a reality.
