Verde River Golf & Social Club

We booked this venue for our wedding and it was BEYOND our expectations. The staff, especially Marianna, are incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, flexible, and kind. The food and dessert is to die for! The wait and bar staff are so sweet and attentive. We were able to book a space for a bridal suite, which is helpful for getting ready since there is not lodging on site. We felt cared for and heard during our whole planning process. During the big day, we never felt rushed or misinformed. Everything was as we planned it and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!🖤

Shannon did such an amazing job with all the last minute requests I sent her. The venue was beautiful, and the sunset pictures with the mountains in the background were next level. I’m so happy with our choice of venue. The food was awesome, and Shannon also came up with a custom cocktail which was a hit with guests. So happy with our experience and would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a beautiful venue.

Thank you to Shannon and her team at Verde River Golf and Social Club for the spectacularly magnificent wedding venue for my son and daughter-in-law's recent spring wedding! One could not ask for a more majestic desert backdrop as they exchanged vows on the stunning Mazatzal Lawn. Then guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks (even signature cocktails named after the bride and groom's dogs) before transitioning inside to a dazzling sit down dinner reception. Everyone raved about the food - especially the beef tenderloin! The servers were attentive and efficient. Shannon helped the bride and groom make critical decisions along the way to develop a custom package for the event. She was very prompt and thorough with her emails and phone calls. You could not ask for a better point person - she gave 110%! Without a doubt, I highly recommend Shannon and Verde River GSC to anyone looking for an awesome venue with great customer service. Couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to get married! I loved this place from the start when I was touring venues for our wedding and for the price I couldn’t say no. I signed that day.

I will say it was a rough start planning, but after Shannon stepped in and took over, it was great. On the day of our wedding, if something wasn’t right, she didn’t hesitate, she just did it to make it right.

I can’t thank Shannon enough for being so responsive, organized and on top of her game! Zach and I are very appreciative for all the hard work you put in to make our day so perfect! Highly recommend this place!!

Oh one last thing… the view is to die for 😍

Sounds cliche but it truly was a dream come true. This venue offered the exact vision we had for our wedding - modern, elegant & classy. The architecture of the clubhouse offers a more modern feel with stunning views of the Arizona mountains. The venue space also offered that view along with a beautiful large grass lawn that stands away from the public spaces of the clubhouse for privacy. The ballroom enabled us to have exactly what we wanted for our reception, an indoor/outdoor concept! We had our guests eat dinner inside with the accordion doors open to the dance floor and bar underneath the lights outside. On a gorgeous February night, this set up worked perfectly!

The next important factor to us was the food. Verde River Golf and Social Club offered the best food of all the venues we looked at! Weeks after our wedding, our guests are STILL talking about how delicious it was.

Lastly, one of the most important deciding factors is the staff. Shannon is the Catering and Event Coordinator at Verde River, she started just two weeks before our wedding! Usually this would give most brides a panic attack but there was something about her personality and professionalism that made me feel like we were in great hands! And let me tell you - we definitely were! Shannon worked tirelessly to prepare for our big day on such short notice & she not only executed our day perfectly, but she went above and beyond to make it truly special for both me and my Husband! She made sure we were taken care of all night long & stress free! The food and beverage staff running dinner and the open bar also did an incredible job staying on our timeline but not rushing guests through their meal.

All in all; I would highly recommend Verde River Golf and Social Club!!

Shannon and the staff at Verde River are nothing but amazing! This venue goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth day and will do everything to bring the couples vision to life. Our party flew in from California and had a boho glam themed wedding that turned out incredible. The space is incredible, food is beyond delicious and you feel right at home with the staff. Verde River is TOP KNOTCH!

Choosing Verde River Golf & Social Club as our wedding venue was the absolute BEST decision. Stacey was so wonderful to work with. She made everything stress free and fun, and went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable and an all around AMAZING experience. The views for our ceremony were incredible, the food was delicious, and the service was just outstanding. We feel like we found a hidden gem and love absolutely everything about the venue.

If I could give this venue a million stars, I would. My wife and I just got married this past Saturday and it was literally a DREAM COME TRUE. Aside from the AMAZING view and DELICIOUS food, the staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had this venue booked 2 years in advanced and have been through a few of the coordinators, but STACEY was an absolute GEM to work with. She has turned this experience around and I honestly wish I can get married here again and again and again! We will be back here for every anniversary, that’s for sure :) If you are looking for an amazing venue, amazing staff and coordinator, and to have the wedding of your dreams - look no further and book here!!!!

The property’s setting is posted right in the foreground of four peaks and the mountains south of Bartlett lake so it’s a tough runner when it comes to comparable views at a venue.

The Food was outstanding; they even accommodated everyone’s food allergies and vegan options with excellence. We subbed in the butter cake for our wedding cake and everyone was looking for seconds.

Our coordinator Sarah, with everything in her, made sure our wedding planning and execution went according to plan. She was extremely responsive and helpful even after the wedding had commenced. Samantha was also a great help along with the rest of the staff that made each and every visit to the venue enjoyable. Again, the food is so good we always stayed for dinner; who doesn’t love great food, live music, and views?

10/10 would recommend having your wedding here.

We will start by thanking the people who made our day possible. Samantha was welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The view and Samantha’s hospitality are the main reasons we decided to celebrate our wedding at Verde River Golf and Social Club. Sarah was our coordinator and a true professional. From start to finish she was on top of everything. She brought our vision to life, from meeting at La Tavola Linen, tunnel lighting, venue decor / set up, and the best support through what can be a stressful process. She personally handed my husband and me drinks at our wedding, what more can you ask for? It was the most unforgettable night of our lives because of this team. Sarah, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 10/10

Venue, this venue is a hidden gem. We are obsessed and trust me, it will take your breath away. 10/10

The food, the best wedding food you will ever have. We moved dinner thirty minutes ahead on our wedding day and they accommodated with perfect execution. Two words, butter cake. We had Guests searching for anyone who had not eaten theirs (We served individual butter cakes instead of cake). They also accommodated all dietary restrictions, dairy and multiple vegan meals. 10/10

The service, we never had an empty glass, dirty plate, and our bartender kept a smile on her face with an open bar and rowdy crowd. Our service team was a 10/10
