Venue Bouchon is a beautiful wedding venue located on a 5-acre property on the outskirts of Taneytown, Maryland. The full-service event venue is available to rent for indoor or outdoor weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and other nuptial events. Just a 30-minute drive from many Maryland and Pennsylvania communities, it provides a private, elegant setting while also being easily accessible to guests from all over!

Facilities and Capacity

Venue Bouchon is home to indoor and outdoor event spaces designed to accommodate every phase of your special day! You can host an outdoor ceremony in our covered pavilion that's bathed in natural light with a stunning natural backdrop, or an indoor celebration in our elegant banquet hall. This versatile venue can accommodate parties of up to 300 guests and features convenient on-site parking.

All venue rentals include a variety of seating and dining options, with additional decor items also available to rent. Our in-house catering team will work with you to craft your dream wedding menu that's tailored to your tastes and preferences. Beautiful place

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding property is stunning also! Perfect location with plenty of parking.
The staff is amazing and very welcoming! I felt so comfortable and at ease! Very fair prices with different options for any budget! Highly recommend!

October wedding

We had our daughter’s wedding October 2024, this venue is beautiful and exactly what she wanted. We had the venue do the catering and bar, it all went very well. The food and service was great! The team went above and beyond to even help clean up at the end of a fun night! You can tell the pride that goes into this venue! Would highly recommend !

Beautiful venue but unprofessional staff

Beautiful venue but the coordinators tried to ruin my weekend. Rehearsal dinner on Friday the coordinators got upset that I insisted I wanted my wedding outside like I had planned when I booked the venue, they tried to strong arm me into forcing it inside. Sun was out for our wedding time and yet they still said it was too rainy, luckily my coordinator and husband had my back and got what I wanted on my big day. They promised the tent would be air conditioned and yet, it was stifling hot with no air and guests were miserable. The bridal suite toilet was not attached to the floor properly and also did not flush. Then throughout the night, MULTIPLE guests and my new husband walked in on them trash talking me IN THE VENUE WITH MY GUESTS WALKING AROUND! Totally classless and completely inappropriate, all because I had a vision for the 11k I spent on that venue that I wanted.

I have a few other complaints about how we were treated throughout the whole process but I was determined to enjoy my wedding with the love of my life. Again, the look of the venue is beautiful and what I wanted but working with the people there was so incredibly frustrating. Luckily my husband and I enjoyed our day regardless of their attempts to put a damper on it, but that’s all because we had each other.
