Hi! My name is Velvet Harriot and I'm the photographer behind the lens at Velvet Flare Photography. I'm 100% self taught in this proffession and feel like there's always going to be something new around the corner that will grow me as a photographer and a business owner! I have been married for 6 years to an amazing man, we have 3 beautiful little ladies that we have the pleasure of growing into 3 beautiful women, and we own two rambunctious dogs! Life is always busy around our home and I hate to think that I'll forget some of my day to day moments with my family so I photograph us constantly. I strive to capture my clients the same way I would my own loved ones, so that they can treasure the small "forgettable" moments and details about your day to day lives, because in 20 years when the little fingers that hold your hands every day are holding little hands of their very own, you'll realize just how precious every single memory is.
