Nestled in a picturesque forest in Gwinnett County, this wedding venue boasts timeless beauty and gorgeous indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony settings. Situated just outside of Atlanta, this event space features a spacious and beautiful reception area and scenic grounds, epitomizing Southern charm and sophistication.

Vecoma at the Yellow River offers scenic and romantic indoor and outdoor event spaces to accommodate up to 200 wedding guests. A lush lawn and lovely river surrounded by woods serve as a wonderful setting for an elegant outdoor ceremony and features a wooden arch, outdoor fireplaces, and an outdoor deck with river views. A spacious indoor reception space contributes ethereal décor with elegant ceiling drapery, a beautiful stone fireplace, and a dance floor. Indoor-only receptions at this estate can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests.

History
In 1927, Venie and Cotton Mather established a cabin made entirely of stone and wood obtained from the estate. The lodge was named Vecoma, which was simulated as a combination of the first two letters of the names Venie, Cotton, and Mather. Today, their family welcomes couples to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the natural beauty of this family legacy.

A Dream Wedding Made Perfect
From our very first interaction to the moment we walked out as husband and wife, their team was exceptional. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the staff at Vecoma made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and manageable. They were not only professional, but genuinely kind and welcoming. Every question we had was answered quickly, every concern was handled thoughtfully, and every detail was approached with care.
On the day of our wedding, their organization and coordination were on full display. Everything flowed seamlessly. We never had to worry about what was happening next because their team was already three steps ahead. They were calm, attentive, and completely in control behind the scenes, allowing us to be fully present in one of the most important moments of our lives.
