John Sill was the coordinator at Parkside when we had our wedding 6/18/16. He was great to work with. He was quick to respond and very helpful. The food was excellent and our choices were more than we could have expected. Thank you for making everything go smoother than we thought possible!

My husband and I were so unbelievably happy with Parkside. Everyone who attended our wedding could not stop talking about how amazing the food was and how kind and professional the staff was. John was easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. Strongly recommend this site. I forgot to mention how nice the room was too. It's spacious and very contemporary.

John Sill is very friendly and knowledgeable and I can't wait to plan all the details of our special day with him. I happened to be in the area and he was able to meet me for a tour with just a few hours notice. As soon as I saw the venue in person I knew that it was the right place for us! There is a great variety of meal choices, snacks for the cocktail hour, options for alcohol, and even cakes! I feel so comfortable knowing that all of things are going to be taken care of my John and his staff right there in one place. With the ballroom rental you also get the lounge or outdoor patio area to use for your cocktail hour which was another plus for us!

The venue very spacious which is just what we need and it's very beautiful! John Sill is a very helpful guy and definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to the event business. We can't wait to have our wedding there!

Working with John at Parkside for our ceremony and reception was amazing. He made getting married seamless in so many ways. From private food tastings, to being able to bring in all the centerpieces early, to picking up everything a day later, Parkside made my wedding perfect. I couldn't believe how helpful all the staff was. Everything ran so smoothly and John and his staff were a huge part of that!

Our guests have raved about the venue and food. We went with the chicken Florentine and top roast beef combination plate and the vegetarian lasagna. We also did passed appetizers during our cocktail hour, and John helped us since we are budget conscious figure out how much we need of each, without there not being enough or too much left over. Without his guidance we would have been very lost. After all, it was our first wedding! ;)

One thing that I LOVED that Parkside did for our wedding, that they don't always do, was put the bar right next to the dance floor. They did this because we had our ceremony there as well. It was great because even if people weren't dancing, they still were part of the action, and as a bride who loves to dance, I could still interact with others without losing what makes my night so fun. Jeremy and can't even begin to express how wonderful our day at UW-Parkside was! Thanks for everything!

I was blown away by the level of service from Parkside. John Sill was AMAZING! I don't think I even had the opportunity to be stressed. They took care of everything and then some. And the food was perfect. I had so many people come up to me and compliment the food. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Parkside!

When I was looking for venues for my reception, I knew I wanted a location that was fresh and unique, with great food and service. I found everything I wanted and more at Parkside. My husband, who had not seen the room until the day of our wedding, couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked, and how the entire staff took care of all our needs. John Sill is to be commended for his professionalism and his attention to detail; his expertise shined on our special day. I am so thrilled with how everything turned out - we could not have asked for a more perfect day!

John did a wonderful job coordinating our reception. We planned our wedding on short notice and were concerned about finding a venue. Although we did have to settle for a Sunday everything went perfect. The banquet hall and lounge are relatively new...built in the last 10 years...and very modern. Everything was wired and set up for sound, there are large windows all around that let in a lot of natural light, there are bride and groom's rooms, setup and cleanup are included along with all linens, chairs and utensils, and the staff will go out of their way to help with anything you need. We had our ceremony here too and changed the location from the ballroom to outside since it was a beautiful day...No Problem! The staff had chairs and even a sound system set up outside within an hour. John worked with us and offered several useful suggestions to ensure we had everything we wanted...and didn't have things we didn't want. I was never married before and don't plan on ever getting married again so I don't have much to compare to but overall we were extremely pleased.

This was the perfect space for our wedding reception. It was very modern and spacious. There is a seating area right outside of the hall where we held our cocktail hour and also allowed for conversation for those who needed a break from dancing. The food was excellent and although we could have brought in a cake from elsewhere, we chose from their bakery selection. We received a ton of compliments on the food and cake. The staff was great and was full service. They wrapped all the centerpieces up at the end of the night and brought all of them down as well as the gifts right to the car.

The staff at UW-Pakside did an amazing job making sure all of my needs were met to pull together a great wedding/reception. They were helpful about answering questions and making last minute changes if needed. The fees were reasonable and the food was fantastic. I was impressed at how everything ran and the smoothness of the operation they had going.
