The museum was a perfect venue for a wedding reception. Guests were able to tour the museum during the evening! There was plenty of space for buffet food, dancing and guest seating. The patio was available as well for viewing the SLC valley. Erika and the staff were so easy to work with and very flexible. We felt like top priority from the start of the wedding planning process through the entire reception. Erika was in contact with all the various vendors so as the bride, I was not worried about anything besides enjoying the day and our guests. It truly was a magical night!!!

Erika (the coordinator at the Museum) was awesome to work with. She was so helpful and coordinated seemingly effortlessly with our other vendors. We had the museum open for guests, and had our ceremony in the gorgeous main hall. If you want a fun, elegant venue, I would recommend checking out the UMFA.

UMFA was excellent to work with and a fantastic venue for our wedding. Our guests loved the space because the museum had something for everyone: kids, history buffs, fans of classical art, and fans of contemporary art alike. It really made the event memorable. Our photos also turned out beautifully because the galleries and event spaces are just lovely. The event coordinator (Erika) and event staff were incredibly professional and accommodating--especially considering that we had to dramatically change plans at the last minute! We also had to plan the wedding long distance (i.e. Via email and over the phone). Throughout the whole process, they really had a proactive attitude about making our wedding everything that we wanted and more.
