Your ceremony and reception can both be held inside this stunning building, which features gorgeous architecture, top-tier exhibitions, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Facilities and Capacity

Founded by William Dzus in 1948, the Ukrainian Institute of America is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote Ukrainian art, music, and literature. It serves as a center for Ukrainian Americans while hosting events and educational programs for the public. This non-profit is based in the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion, which has a rich history that dates back more than 100 years. Banker, broker, and railroad investor Isaac D. Fletcher commissioned architect Charles P.H. Gilbert to design this house in 1897. Gilbert had an illustrious career which involved designing more than 100 large homes throughout New York City between the 1880s through to the 1920s. In 1955, years after the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion was built, it was given to the Ukrainian Institute of America, where it still lives today. From its breathtaking facade to its timeless interior, every inch of the building offers stunning photo opportunities for you and your guests. Rich, dark hues create a romantic atmosphere, while the grand staircase and carved wooden bannister allow for a show-stopping entrance. The aptly named Chandelier Room features towering ceilings and a fairytale-like statement chandelier. Alternatively, the Concert Hall’s soaring ceilings and tall windows create a bright, open space that’s filled with natural light. The Oval Room is a stunning space for photographs, while the Library’s wooden-beam ceiling offers rustic charm and a welcoming ambiance.
