Excellent communication, clear package pricing options, flexible with requests, works well with vendors, impeccable food and service, just incredible hospitality for those staying the full weekend in the Inn.
When our day was destined to be rained out; the North Shore House created the most intimate, and romantic ceremony and reception that exceeded everyone's expectations - as a Bride & Groom it felt like a big hug having everyone right there with us. All my guests were blown away by their team assisting with parking as the guests arrived, and then stationing themselves to create a tunnel of umbrellas to keep each guest dry as they entered.

We held our wedding at North Shore House in October of 2025. Not only is the venue exquisite with its turn of the century rafters and breathtaking lake views, the price of everything was unbeatable. And when I say everything, I mean it; aside from vendors, North Shore House covers all of your needs including set-up, your meals, and cake. Then there’s Samantha, our beloved coordinator. She helped make the whole event perfect from the moment planning began to the day after the ceremony when we checked out of the inn. Thank you North Shore House and Sam for an unforgettable experience.

We truly could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! From the moment we toured the property, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The lakefront setting is stunning and beautifully maintained, and we instantly fell in love.

They have everything you need here - from the beautifully decorated guest rooms and bridal suites, to hosting your rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, reception, and after party - it was so nice to just be in one place for two days with all of our favorite people. They also have a long list of amenities that I highly recommend taking of advantage of - taking the kayaks out around the ceremony point the morning of the wedding was one of my favorite parts of the day!

The staff went above and beyond every step of the way. They were organized, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything ran flawlessly. The day of the wedding we were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves.

And don’t get me started on the food - Our guests are still talking about how amazing it all was from the rehearsal dinner, to the bridal suite lunches, cocktail hour, dinner, to the after party apps - the quality is just absolute TOP tier.

The North Shore House is also a family run business that delivers an experience you won’t get at most other venues. They truly make you feel like you’re the only couple getting married there with how attentive they are throughout the entire process. You don’t feel like just another wedding to them, and they really take the time to get to know you and your vision for your wedding day (and then they execute it, perfectly). The grounds are also very private and intimate and it was something that we just loved about the North Shore House.

Our wedding at the North Shore House was absolutely incredible, and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. We would give them more stars if possible! From the initial tour through the wedding day itself, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations. The venue is stunning, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance. We loved being able to host our ceremony outdoors, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour by the lake. Our coordinator, Emma, was exceptional throughout the entire planning process. She thoughtfully guided us as we developed our seating chart, menu, and timeline, and she scheduled meetings leading up to the big day to ensure every detail was covered. Her support and organization made everything run smoothly. I also loved having access to the bridal suite to get ready in, and our attendant was wonderful. Even now, our guests are still raving about the food and the beautiful venue. We highly recommend having your wedding at North Shore House.

My wife and I got married at North Shore House this past spring. We met at a rehearsal dinner at North Shore House a few years prior and couldn’t have imagined spending our beautiful wedding anywhere else. The food, service, and attention to detail were impeccable and left us, and all our loved ones, feeling special. We were both the first in our immediate families to get married, so neither we nor our parents had much experience with wedding planning. The North Shore House was the first venue we toured — and it ended up being the last! They offered everything we could have hoped for and more. Everyone we worked with was responsive, professional, and kind, making the entire planning process easy and stress-free.

We chose the all-inclusive package, which allowed us to use the property the day before, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Everything about our weekend was amazing — from the hospitality to the food, the views, and beyond. We can’t recommend the North Shore House enough!

The North Shore House helped my husband and I to host the best wedding ever! The staff is truly exceptional (and all of our guests agree). Diane, our bridal attendant, was AMAZING and helped with quite literally everything we needed. Our entire bridal party is still raving about how helpful she was and how she made getting ready such a breeze. The wait staff and bartenders were so attentive and gracious to us and our guests. They helped us with anything we needed all night long. It's clear that Louise is truly an amazing maître d'. Everything was coordinated perfectly. We are so appreciative of her helping our friends get a ride home and getting the bus company to pick up guests from our smores afterparty early when the rain picked up.

We can't not talk about the food. THE FOOD! Everything we ate was so delicious! Hats off to the chef! Our guests have been raving about the food, and not just about one thing, but everything! The lamb lollipops were a hit, and people also loved the pumpkin ravioli and the dumplings. The steak and chicken duet was superb. We've never had steak at a wedding that was so juicy and flavorful. People even shared how much they loved the salad. My husband and I are eager to dine at the restaurant to re-create our incredible evening.

Stefanie is a great pastry chef. That cake was incredible. From the decoration to the texture and flavor, everybody told us it was amazing. All the kids kept asking when the cake would come and we're sure they weren't disappointed!

We are so glad we decided to do an after-party. The staff made sure it was a fun and chill way to end our night.

The inn was so luxurious. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had such fun hanging out in the library late into the night. And what a wonderful spread of pastries, yogurt, and coffee to wake up to. We have to thank Louise again for coming over early in the morning to help us get the last of our things together. Tim was also very helpful during the months leading up to the wedding working with our guests. That was seriously a masterclass in hospitality. Thank you!

Samantha is an excellent event coordinator. We can't thank her enough for working with us, answering all our questions, and accommodating our requests. All the details like handling the kegs, vegan/kosher marshmallows, working around the kosher catering, and the endless intricacies of a Jewish wedding. Thank you for accommodating the kosher catering for our guests. I know they truly appreciated it. Everything was just as it should have been and executed with grace and expertise. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

This is by far the most romantic, breath taking and incredible location for a wedding. My *now* husband, Todd, and I toured The North Shore house back in January 2025. We fell in love instantly and this was in the dead of winter where the trees were bare and the ground was frozen. We saw the pictures and I knew instantly that this venue would be stunning during the summer/fall time. I remember meeting the owner during that tour and how incredibly sweet she was. When the manager, Eric, gave us all the preliminary details, I began tearing up from excitement. “This is it,” I thought so I asked to have a moment with my fiancé to discuss, after nudging him under the table. When Eric left the room, I blurted out instantly, “This is it! We found it! I want it!” Todd agreed and so began the planning stages with Emma, our events coordinator. Emma is beyond prepared and brilliant. She asked us so many important questions and made the planning process easy. She was super detailed, super knowledgeable and clearly an expert in wedding planning. Her recommendations were always the best choices and she was incredibly responsive throughout. I cannot express to you how incredible she is and how much I recommend working with Emma. She’s lovely, brilliant, and made the entire journey less stressful. The day of our wedding, there were some unforeseen things that came up but Emma took care of everything. She was always direct, communicative and respectful. She thought of things way before we could anticipate the need. A small example of this was our extra flowers. We had flowers lined down the aisle during the ceremony. She asked if she could repurpose them during the reception once the ceremony concluded. We said yes. She immediately repurposed them as decoration by the bar and made the area more beautiful. Now, the venue and inn itself. All my guests voiced how stunning the venue is from the ceremony location outdoor by the lake, to the reception space with the polished wood, and each individual room. My guests are telling me they felt like they escaped the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan area to a completely new country on a mountain top by the lake. Everyone felt the romantic setting come to life. The best part? We had the entire place to ourselves since they only do 1 wedding per day, so your guests can walk the grounds without interrupting another ceremony. Let’s talk food! I will quote a friend of mine who ran up to me on the dance floor yelling, “OMG. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST STEAK IVE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING!!!” People are raving to us constantly about the food. The lobster station was a hit! The hanger steak was by far the most loved dish. Every single selection was delicious. I loved how incredibly accommodating they are with allergies and dietary restriction. I’m gluten free, so anything I was given was made sure to be gluten free. Even the staff knew this so they alerted me what wasn’t gluten free so that I knew. The North Shore House makes your wedding dream come true; ours truly was the perfect day with the perfect weather and the perfect food.
