The North Shore House is a family owned and operated venue that leaves everyone who visits, feeling like family. From the moment we met with the team, through the EASY planning process, to our romantically rainy-day wedding, and after... they made it perfect. Excellent communication, clear package pricing options, flexible with requests, works well with vendors, impeccable food and service, just incredible hospitality for those staying the full weekend in the Inn.
When our day was destined to be rained out; the North Shore House created the most intimate, and romantic ceremony and reception that exceeded everyone's expectations - as a Bride & Groom it felt like a big hug having everyone right there with us. All my guests were blown away by their team assisting with parking as the guests arrived, and then stationing themselves to create a tunnel of umbrellas to keep each guest dry as they entered.
I would do it all over again, exactly the way we planned. A+B

My wife and I just had our wedding at North Shore House and it goes without saying that this venue is absolutely incredible. Everything from the ceremony at the iconic point overlooking the lake down to the friendly, first rate service made our special day, the perfect day. Huge shout out to Emma and the staff for making the planning and execution as smooth and simple as possible. We never had a single worry about where we needed to be or what was happening next because they had our backs 100% of the way.

The food and presentation was hands down the best and if you’re a bacon lover I highly recommend the smoked maple bacon station. The attention to detail, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful scenery made our fall wedding everything we had hoped for and more. All of our family and friends who attended can’t stop raving about the venue. So if you’re not planning a destination wedding or even if you are make the North Shore House you’re destination to say I do.

Just had my wedding here this past weekend and I have nothing but positive things to say. First off, the owners and all of the staff are truly kind hearted and work so hard to make your day special. From day one, communication was top notch. Every single question I asked was answered quickly and most of the time followed by very helpful feedback and suggestions. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and I am so so grateful I discovered NSH on the Nj brides Facebook page. Diana is your bridal attendant and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are fed, relaxed, and have everything you need. The bridal suite is this cute gated area attached to the home where the owners live. It is absolutely adorable and reminded me of a little cottage. I also really loved riding around on that golf cart with Diana :). It’s also great to take a ride if you need to decompress away from the craziness.

My coordinator was Emma, who is a literal ANGEL. Emma was so great with communication ( I ask a million questions) and is so organized. She is also the absolute sweetest and I was so happy to have her with me during my special day. I trust her completely and was really stress free because I knew she had everything under control.

Besides the amazing staff, the view is gorgeous. The hotel rooms are also so peaceful and VERY clean. The food is absolutely amazing, I received so many compliments and many stated it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had . I typically don’t even eat the plated food at weddings because it’s made in large quantities and isn’t always consistent. However, I ate my filet mignon on my wedding day and it was cooked perfectly. I also received positive feedback on the cocktail hour and dessert. The next morning, we had a simple but very cute send off brunch with the firepits going, boat rides, and some apple cider donuts! It was very fall themed and a perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. All of my vendors also commented on how great NSH is to work with. I recommend this for any bride looking for an amazing celebration with a team who is extremely personable, caring, and down to earth.
