My name is Tra. In Vietnamese, it means "tea".

I specialize in wedding and outdoor portraits in the Downtown Sacramento area. Most of my clients will tell you that I am really good at posing them. They will most likely tell you also that I am a goof ball because we are always laughing, running and jumping at our shoots.

Since my studio is located in Old Sac, I am always in the downtown Sacramento area shooting or scouting new locations. In Oct 2015, I quit my full time corporate job to pursue photography full time, this business that I have been building for the last 2.5 years. Before this, I was working at a private art college for over 8 years since moving to CA from FL.

I graduate in 2007 with a Bachelor in Healthcare Administration and I got a Master of Business Administration in Feb 2014. All of my knowledge in photography comes from endless hours of research, practicing over and over again and asking for feedback from clients to ensure that they have a really fun experience and get photos that capture those good times forever.
