My name is Mark Turner, and I am passionate about what I do!

I serve people by making great images for them, and of them. I love weddings, seeing two people start their lives together, and celebrating with friends and family. I love photographing families, and showing the connections that only families share. I love photographing babies, especially newborns, and seeing them in photographs for their first ever year in this world. I love children, and capturing the wonder in their eyes as they discover new things. I love making super senior portraits, and showing the world these great people called teenagers!

I love what I do. And what I do is tell stories through my photography. Photography is capturing light. It is seeing the light as it plays across your subject, whether that is a person at play, a tree in the forest, or the water at the sea's edge. Photography is recording that moment when the light is just so, and it will never be exactly like that again. it's a split second, or a succession of seconds, when everything comes together to make a great image of a sunset, a flowing stream, or a moment of your child's life that will be gone forever if not caught in the camera. Photography is recording time in snippets that tell a story to those that will come later. Can I tell your story?

Through my 15 years, I have moved from the very traditional, posed wedding portraiture, to the candid photojournalism, and have settled somewhere between the two with a relaxed style that lets the wedding flow, catching the opportunities for candid images full of the emotion of the day to great portrait images that will have you looking your absolute best of this important occasion. This lets the photography be less of a scheduled ordeal, and more of a compliment to the day, while preserving the memories for your children to one day enjoy.

Rates vary according to your event. I have 6 packages ranging from $1800 to $7200, so I have something for almost every budget, and am always will to "bargain." Turner Photography+Design can handle anything from small intimate events to larger celebrations with staff that includes as many as three photographers and assistants to capture every moment. Each and every bride is different, wants different coverage, products, and types of photography. I have a variety of products, including albums, Original File DVD's, DVD Slideshow, Parent Albums, E-Sessions, B-Sessions, Guestbooks, Thank You Cards, etc. I have up to 3 photographers to cover your day, and can handle small intimate affairs, to grandiose events with the professional creativity you both desire and deserve.
