The most stunning venue you’ll lay your eyes on in the Hi-Desert area. My husband and I found Tumbleweed when we were looking for wedding venues near Joshua Tree, early in the pandemic. We booked it without having seen in person, only online photos. The beauty that was captured on their website was enough for us!

The property is large, but feels contained at the same time. We were able to have our ceremony near the entrance of the space, our reception on the hardtop, our first dance in the labyrinth, our sunset photos on the scenic trail, and our dance party inside. There was no inch of Tumbleweed that was left unexplored by us and our guests.

We could not recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary more! The venue is absolutely stunning, with tons of Joshua Trees at the back of the property, and other beautiful cacti. The sunset there is incredible and made for absolutely beautiful sunset photos. We got married at the two big Joshua Trees and we couldn't be happier with the unique "arch". A lot is included in the rental and at the time of our wedding, we felt the cost of renting the venue was very reasonable. There is also an indoor building that is beautifully decorated inside that we used for our rehearsal dinner, and can also be used for dinner/the reception (we chose to have our dinner and reception outdoors under the string lights). Our guests were blown away by how incredible the venue was and we are so thankful we were able to have our wedding at Tumbleweed. The staff there are wonderful to work with as well! They actually saved our wedding day - our previous venue canceled on us 3 days before our wedding, and somehow Tumbleweed was available on our date with 3 days notice and they helped us save our day!! We will forever be grateful to Sabrina and Vicki for everything they did to help make our wedding day possible on such short notice.

Tumbleweed Sanctuary... thank you for creating a beautiful day for me and my now husband! We worked closely with Sabrina who was very responsive to the vast emails exchanged while we worked around COVID restrictions and ultimately chose their "Marry Me under a Joshua Tree" package. The vendors were preselected for us, all local, and I was very happy with the guitarist during the ceremony, flowers (oh my gosh, they were gorgeous) and small touches for our mini-dance party which included cake, champagne and libations. The property itself is picturesque with Joshua trees sprinkled all over outside... and it made for swoon worthy photos! We added video with the photographer and I highly recommend this. While we were really looking forward to our original pre-COVID plans, Tumbleweed really pulled through and made our day so special and unforgettable.

When we first discovered Tumbleweed Sanctuary, we knew it was perfect for us. We wanted to capture the magic of the desert and the function of an established venue. With the gorgeous expanse of the natural desert and beautifully designed vignettes, they had everything we were looking for. We had our ceremony outside in the large stone labyrinth and it was truly a dream come true. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of this setting. There are so many possibilities for photo ops, ceremony and reception setups, and activities on their huge and open grounds. They already had much of what we needed, including tables and chairs, plus the spectacular beauty of the gardens meant we could cut down on the cost of decor- we didn’t need much else! We had a magical day in this beautiful setting and recommend it highly for anyone looking for a desert wedding.

We hosted our November wedding at Tumbleweed and cant even put into words how magical the experience was working with them. From booking to execution, their team were absolutely incredible and our wedding couldn't have been more magical + perfect. If you're on the fence - CHOOSE THIS VENUE! It is absolute magic.

This was the most magical beautiful, well kept, well thought out wedding site I've ever been to and I'm so glad we chose it. Julie was an incredible host, and everything about the space is perfect. It's so dynamic-- outdoor and indoor with lots of options and flexibility. Perfect for sunset photos. I could not have asked for a more magical place to sanctify my love. Tumbleweed Sanctuary is truly unique and was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is beautiful, provides wonderful furniture and decorations, and is a beautiful space with the perfect desert vibe.

If you're looking into getting married in Joshua Tree, THIS PLACE IS IT! We planned our wedding all the way from Cincinnati, OH. We knew we wanted to get married in Joshua Tree but without the desert heat.

When I found Tumbleweed Sanctuary on Instagram I instantly knew this was our venue. Not only was it gorgeous on the inside and out, the staff at TS were incredible. Up until the day of the wedding TS made sure to communicate with us. The staff were kind and attentive, absolutely amazing!

Also, huge bonus but their building had AC. Huge bonus since we had grandparents who weren't used to CA heat.
