I attended a family member's funeral, at Trinity Church and I must say that I would never think that the church's staff could be so rude, unprofessional, no compassion or respect for the fact that we are mourning our loss. it's true what they say, "you can not buy class, nor compassion". I was directed to the "glass room" since the other main room was at capacity (no chair available) at the time it was 5 of us in this room when an event coordinator name Yolani worked in with attitude and stated" you guys need to leave this room because it is not part of this funeral, I stated that we were directed here by one of the event coordinators because there no more chairs. She answered again with the same nasty attitude that I don't know about you guys need to leave and stand outside I will see if we can get some chairs. Since the service was ongoing they were praying, we suggested that if she could please ensure that the chairs are out there first before we start moving so we don't disturb the service, she then proceeded to close the doors, and stated "that you guys don't want to leave it's fine with me, I will just charge extra for this room" then after a minute she came back to the room look at us and turned off the light on us. Her supervisor Mrs. Cordell Dona, the Operation Manager was the one who instructed Yolani the event coordinator to turn off the light on us she stated. The sad part is that room was never used until the end of the funeral service. it is unfortunate and sad to have to deal with this while mourning our loss and worst at a Church.
