Not only did we LOVE working with them, but we lost track of how many guests approached us to share how amazing of a band they are. Go see one of their shows and you’ll know it’s the right choice. Tricky Dick and the coverups were the absolute best wedding experience we could ever imagined! The band was a hit and we received numerous compliments about them from friends and family. They were fantastic with accommodations and extremely seamless to work with. They brought our entire wedding guest list to the dance floor and kept it packed all night with how great their performance was. We used them for our wedding and they were fantastic! I have never had so much fun! They are professional, nice and accommodating! We had so many compliments! They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Best decision we made about for our wedding was the band! If you have any second thoughts don’t, they are the best!

They played our wedding and had the dance floor packed all night. They brought the energy and truly were instrumental in making the night so fun. They played a great variety of music that made guests of all ages and music preferences happy. We got so many compliments about them! People commented how fun they were, how energetic, how talented, and how they really seemed to be enjoying themselves and the music, not just going through the motions.

They were also a joy to work with throughout the booking and planning process. They have an amazing set list and lots of options for what you may be looking for, like lighting and staging. They shared some ideas with us for the evening (photo dash, milestone song) but were never pushy and always listened to us. Tony was also a fantastic emcee. Their communication was great and made them easy to work with from start to finish.

John and I have seen Tricky Dick multiple times over the years. As soon as we got engaged, there was no question about who we would have as our wedding band. We actually picked our wedding date based on their availability this summer! We knew what we were getting with Tricky Dick, but they still managed to impress. From letting us customize our set list/cocktail hour/dinner hour music, to Tony MCing and keeping the night on track, and letting our fathers play our first dance, we could not say more. John and I could not recommend Tricky Dick any higher nor could we offer greater praise. Everyone says something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day, but Tricky Dick was everything that was right about it!

Tony did such a great job MCing and accommodated a special/custom Mother Son dance. The band added a light show and went above and beyond with the preparation and attention to detail.

Tricky Dick has a great variety of songs and genres, and the band is extremely accommodating with customizing your playlist. If you are considering between a DJ and a live band, a live band makes such a huge difference. And Tricky Dick is 100% thr way to go!

Tricky Dick made our wedding reception go smoothly & everyone have a blast! Tony was so friendly & easy to work with. We immediately felt comfortable & so excited to have them play at our wedding when we met Tony. He was just as excited about our wedding as we were and right then we knew we made the right choice! He MCed the whole evening & made the night completely stress free for us (& we didn’t have a wedding planner!!). All of our guests were raving about the band & how they switched from song to song so seamlessly that no one ever wanted to leave the dance floor & the dance floor was packed the whole night!!! Tricky Dick & The Coverups were the highlight of our wedding! Leading up to the wedding Tony met with us to discuss songs and helped with suggestions for timing. They were all very professional. Tony MC’d everything too and really got the crowd’s attention when needed. They provided cocktail hour and dinner music via mp3. When they started to perform EVERYONE was on the dance floor!! Our guests had such a great time dancing all night and watching their show. They also made it personalized to us in subtle ways. Our guests keep talking about how great they are. They started off with a lot of classics songs at the beginning and worked in some new hits toward the end of the night. They provided glow sticks and sunglasses which were a huge hit with our guests. I would 100% recommend hiring them for your wedding!
