Ellen Melanie Price owns a travel agency aptly named "The Travel Gals." I went to high school with Ellen. Her sister was my best friend. When my husband and I were planning our honeymoon, we called so many travel agencies in Connecticut but it seemed that no one was really getting it... none of the agencies were able to come up with what we were looking for - especially at an affordable price. We got married in September and had to worry about hurricane season so most of the Caribbean was out of the question. We looked into Aruba but learned that it's best to visit Aruba for short visits of 5 days or so. We wanted a longer honeymoon than that. We heard conflicting reports about Mexico... travel agents recommended it... family and friends did not due to the drug wars down there. We decided that we didn't want to be worried about our safety while honeymooning. What I *really* wanted was to go to Maui. I had worked at the Hyatt Regency in Maui when I was 21 and I wanted to go back and enjoy it with someone I loved. When we got nowhere with our local travel agents, I decided to call Ellen in California. Wow! So glad I did! She found us a fabulous package at - of all places - the Hyatt in Maui. She negotiated a better room for us and a package that included breakfast. When we arrived, the Hyatt upgraded our room yet again... to ocean front. We were in heaven! It was eight days of bliss and a very happy memory for me and my husband and Ellen Price and the Travel Gals put it all together for us. Ellen sent us our boarding passes and our itinerary and our rental car information ahead of time. It was a relaxing trip from start to finish... and it was affordable. No one in CT listened to what we wanted... no one in CT found us exactly what we wanted. So we called Ellen in California and we're so very happy with Ellen's services.
