Tranquility Estate wedding venue is located on one of the central piedmont’s most historical land grants!! Originated in the mid 1700 hundreds this grand historical estate offers a second to none, magical setting unlike anything else.Tranquility is also one of the only venues that offers our guests multiple stunning ceremony settings and provides a world class reception hall complete with spacious dance floor, 360 views, bars, crystal chandeliers and customized lighting. With the terrace overlooking granville county’s highest elevation,our sunset gardens and fountain equipped ponds, tranquility estate venue is breathtaking and a magnificent place to host your special event!

Facilities and Capacity

Able to host rehearsals, ceremonies, and receptions, Tranquility Estate offers a variety of dynamic and distinctive event spaces. Ceremonies can take place at one of the designated outdoor sites. You can exchange your vows beside one of the glistening ponds, or in one of the spacious pastures. Here, you and your beloved can say “I do” while your loved ones marvel at the eye-catching panorama. The terrace would be a wonderful place to mix and mingle with guests before heading into the pavilion to enjoy your after-party. With ample space for dinner and dancing, the pavilion is ideal for couples who wish to share their first dance in style. Your nearest and dearest will surely adore the estate’s refined interior. Further facilities include get-ready rooms, a dining hall, numerous outbuildings, and a parlor replete with elegant decor.

This option includes a one-hour wedding session, an officiant, and professional photography services. As an added touch, event items like tables and chairs can be provided.     The Vibe is Amazing . Photography dream!!

    From the moment we drove up and got out of the car to the smile on my face leaving this venue was amazing! You do get the best of both rustic farm and old world elegant. I have no doubts my bridal portraits will be BEAUTIFUL. Not to mention the reception area, you can pick your color lights you want to set the mood with,and they have their own laser light show that goes with music!! Very nice, top notch. They definitely thought of every thing. Plus what a nice Family!!! I got to meet Kristen and Sara (mother/daughter) sara was so Sweet and Kristen is hilarious and her energy is great! definitely a positive team to work with! Can't wait for the next coming months!

Doug is the owner of Tranquility estate and has put a tone of love, time and energy putting this GRAND estate back to its original state. Doug is more than pleased to share its beauty with the world and overseas most operations at Tranquility estate while assisting with the larger corpate events. Doug also enjoys marketing and website design. Doug is always adding and thinking of ways for Tranquility estate to be better and his vision for the venue is second to none. Every once in a while he peeps in on tours and loves to say hello!

Sara is the wife of Doug and is an owner of Tranquility estate. Saying she is the administrative back bone is and understatement! She also assists with social media and Marketing for the Estate. Sara and Kristen work closely together for the everyday operations, and scheduling of weddings and events at Tranquilty Estate. Sara also assists Doug with the upkeep of the grounds/ to help execute his visions to maintain and add to Tranquility at all times. You will also see Sara make apperances during tours as she loves to meet the potential bride and grooms! Its the fun part!

Kristen, an Oxford native grew up right near where Tranquility Estate is located. She is absolutly in love with Tranquilty and cant wait to share with Couples planning their special day!! Kristen is very acclimated with the local area, restaurants, hotels etc. She has studied the history of the property and can answer almost any question you can ask. Kristen is the Daughter of the Owners, Doug and Sara Muhle, and absolutley enjoys working with her family and the public. Especially helping people to enjoy their time at Tranquility! Kristen is not a event planner....Yet..Currently she is there to help couples with tours, preffered vendor recommendations,scheduling and social media.
