We went into Tobin Jewelers on a whim one day as we were walking past. These guys are AMAZING! They are family owned and operated and very personable. It doesn't matter who is there working on any given day because they are all very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable.
Rob sat with my guy and I for over two hours to teach us about diamonds and different types of bands, and showed endless patience helping me try on a ton of rings until I had a sense of what I liked. The same was true when we went to pick out our wedding bands- they showed lots of patience and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Every person there really shows that they care that we are happy customers.
We had a long engagement and they are local, so I popped in now and then to have my ring cleaned- no charge for that, and they always checked it over to make sure all was well (I am very hard on my hands and constantly banging this poor ring against everything so I love that they take a minute to do this). They also helped us to get our rings sized. My hands swell in the summer so I had my ring sized down in the winter and up in the summer, and then up again when I had it soldered. Each time they were really prompt about it and the price was extremely reasonable.
It sounds silly but I was really impressed by their record keeping. They have a picture of my ring on every receipt, and linked in my account. So whenever I left my ring with them, I knew that there was absolutely no chance of there being any kind of mix up with a similar item.
I can't say enough good about Tobin Jewelers. They have earned my trust and loyalty; I will never go anywhere else!
