I could use this entire text box to praise Megan Yarmuth of Toasted 131 LLC. Toasted, as a restaurant, is such a fun and innovative concept of gourmet burgers, grilled cheese and sides served by good people. As a caterer, my husband and I were able to bring that same good food and good service to our wedding reception. Sure, casual comfort food is a little untraditional for a wedding, but our guests raved at the delicious options and creative menu. And we were able to provide so many more options within our price point than if we had gone with a standard caterer: two types of burgers, two types of grilled cheese, two types of salad, three side dishes and milk and cookies shots for what a standard caterer would have charged for a meager standard brunch menu. Our wedding menu was able to fit us as a bride and groom, and all of that started with Megan and her can-do attitude. They prepped in their food truck and served out of a tiny hallway on the second floor of our venue like troopers and were always professional and friendly with our guests. And the food was delicious and beautifully presented. This wonderful catering option deserves to be considered by every creative bride and groom!
