We first heard of Tim because he had photographed a friend's wedding and we loved their photos. I am so glad that we reached out to inquire about him photographing ours several years later!

Tim and his partner brought such vision and subtlety. We originally thought we would just be taking formal portraits around our venue's yard, but Tim went out of his way to inquire about a privately owned, gloriously lush garden next door that just happened to look like a movie set that particular afternoon, complete with fall leaves and dappled sunlight. The results were simply exquisite. He really brought it to another level by optimizing our surroundings and completing our autumnal wedding dreams.

I also appreciated Tim's approach of documenting rather than over-choreographing. My husband and I are rather camera shy, and we were nervous that we would look awkward if we had to do a ton of forced poses. Tim walked the line perfectly between offering us enough direction so we could feel and appear at ease (e.g. making sure my huge bouquet wasn't covering my dress and our posture looked comfortable) while also just letting us just do our thing and absorb the moment.

The candid shots that Tim and his partner took throughout the ceremony and reception were amazing as well. They captured the light perfectly, caught moments of joy in our guests' expressions, and found small details that sparkled into the lens. He also picked up on personal details and our senses of humor; for instance our wedding was library themed and we recited a Lord of the Rings quote during our speech; we were so tickled to find a number of photos of our wedding rings with our library decor, including on a card catalog we had brought, and on the spine of a Lord of the Rings book!

Also of note, Tim is extremely calm and tactful in his communication; we had a bit of wedding drama that occurred at one point (what's a wedding without such things!) and he helped us de-escalate the situation. If you are looking for a talented photographer who will capture the magic of your wedding day, help everyone feel at ease, and offer all of this at a very reasonable price, you have found your photographer!

Tim was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding day! He is professional and prompt in his communication and is easy to reach. He has some great package options at very reasonable prices for the area. He has a calm demeanor and is so calming to work with. His photos are absolutely gorgeous and really speak for themselves. He has such an amazing gift of capturing natural, pure moments. Nothing about our photos looked stiff, too planned, or fake. I have gone back to our photos again and again and they are all amazing! We would recommend Tim to anyone and hope we have a reason to work with him again in the future!

Tim was fantastic! My husband and I were definitely not too comfortable in front of the camera prior to the engagement photo shoot but Tim made us feel comfortable and also captured some of our favorite pictures together. He does a fantastic job of capturing candid photos as well as portrait photos. He does a nice job balancing getting the perfect shots with also allowing you to enjoy the wedding day without taking over. He did a wonderful job getting the shot list without making it all about getting the right picture. Definitely worth hiring him, he does a wonderful job!!

Tim did our engagement and wedding pictures. We were both a little nervous at the engagement session and he made us completely comfortable - one of the things he did that I really appreciated was to put us in poses and tell us exactly what to do (stare into his eyes, look over your shoulder, smile, kiss, etc) so we never felt lost. We tried out a few different locations for the engagement pictures and Tim was very flexible with letting us just drive around until we found good spots. His pictures were absolutely beautiful and made us excited to work with him again on our wedding day. On the wedding day, he brought another photographer and again they did a great job. I was really impressed at the end of the night when Tim remembered everything I'd told him originally and made sure to get a few shots that we forgot earlier (and I'd totally forgot mentioning!). The only problem with Tim is that all the pictures are so great, it's hard to decide which ones to print!

I have now worked with Tim for my engagement photo session. He was very professional and even looked up the location before hand to try to find even more interesting spots. We have a package with engagement and our wedding photos so I look forward to continuing to work with him on my wedding day.

We are so happy that Tim was our wedding photographer! He and his wife Margot were so helpful (and super friendly!!) from start to finish. Tim was always extremely flexible; for our initial meeting, he offered to meet us at a place that was convenient for us, which was much appreciated in the middle of busy wedding planning. He was also able to accommodate a last minute (night before the wedding...) list of pictures we wanted taken - which he managed to capture all of and more! Tim captured all of the important moments of the day - even moments I didn't realize he had been there for. He has great attention to detail and he took the time to photograph not only the major events, but the small details of the day like the place cards, table decor, rings, etc. The pictures came out beautifully and it was worth every penny. Our guests spoke very highly of him on the wedding day; he took the formal photos quickly so everyone had time to enjoy the reception. Tim is very professional and is quick to answer e-mails and goes out of his way to make his customers happy. We would recommend Tim in a heartbeat!

From the beginning Tim was incredibly responsive and attentive. He always answered all my questions (even if I asked them multiple times!) in a timely matter.

When deciding, I sent his website and another photographers over to a few photographers I know for their input and all of them said that Tim was absolutely the one we should pick! I knew he was, but it was great getting that confirmation from other talented photographers.

Tim helped so much throughout the planning process, which was especially useful as my husband and I were planning from Chicago! He even took the time out of his busy day to meet with my parents and I when I was visiting Connecticut a few months before the wedding to talk us through the rest of the process.

On the day of the wedding- Tim was calm and professional. When the room the bridal party was getting ready in was not ready for us yet- Tim quickly found something else for us to shoot and reassured us that we had plenty of time! He directed us in a natural and helpful way during the first look and bridal party pictures and even managed to get a photo of all 125 guests after the ceremony.

I wholeheartedly recommend using Tim as your photographer as he will capture all of those moments you may not see or remember after the wedding. If you have the chance to do an engagement session with him, I also recommend that! We were not able too because we live in Chicago, but looking back I wish we did!

I was just recently married at the Madison Beach Hotel on July 13,, 2013 and used Tim Nosenzo as our photographer and I simply cannot say enough positive things about him!! His package prices were reasonable and the pre-wedding planning was handled in an organized and professional manner! Tim and his wife worked to fulfill our desires for the wedding including my request for a slideshow during the reception which included both pictures that we provided him some from getting ready that day! Additionally, Tim and his wife made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the day! Tim is great at returning emails and answering questions or concerns in a timely manner! He also shot our engagement shoot at Chamard Vineyards which he turned into a book and displayed at our wedding! He is knowledge and great to work with… I highly recommend Tim Nosenzo photography!
