Picking out a wedding cake was the #1 decision my husband and I were excited and serious about making. We live out of state, so getting to sample cakes from dozens of bakers just wasn't going to be possible for us, which was a bummer. However, Nancy made it so easy to taste her creations. She mailed us cakes in push-pop type designs- 3 of each combination of flavors (one for each of us and a "tie breaker"). Neither my husband nor I wanted a traditional chocolate or vanilla cake, and Nancy's menu gave us so many other flavors to choose from (lemon coconut cake, blood orange frosting, and amaretto frosting ended up being our finished product). When we had a disagreement over which frosting to go with, Nancy was happy to provide us with her expertise and guide us to a decision. She also provided us with photos and sketches to help us decide on a final design. The finished product was both delicious and beautiful.

O-M-G! Nancy is the total package! She was extremely responsive and helpful when making a decision on flavors for our wedding cake. She truly makes you feel like you are the only bride she's working with and takes pride in her work. Everyone raved about how beautiful cake looked and how delicious it tasted! I was eating it for days after our wedding and it still tasted just as good as our wedding night. Definitely book Nancy, you won't be disappointed!

We used Nancy for our wedding and also for a friends bridal shower. She was wonderful and kind, and one of the easiest parts about planning the wedding. She made both me and my husband feel at ease and we always had a smile when meeting with her. Her cakes and cupcakes are amazing! We will definitely continue to use her in the future!

What can I say about Nancy that nobody else has yet? Not only does she make beautiful, delicious cakes, she also has such a big heart. Nancy was wonderful to work with, she made our vision come true with our wedding cake. We asked for her to add our dog to the cake as a special addition which she did for free for us. We would highly recommend Nancy!

Nancy was so great to work with. She invited us to her shop to do our cake tasting and it was everything I dreamed about. She allowed us to pick some things to try but also gave us her professional insight. Nancy was so personable and easy to work with. After our tasting we decided we wanted to try two other filling flavors. She happily offered to make us some cupcakes that week to try new flavors along with the ones we knew we wanted to see how they mixed. She is very generous with her tastings . We are both very picky with cake and I have to say that her chocolate cake is one of the best I have ever eaten. Our cake was flawless and delicious, absolute perfection. I can't wait to order another cake from her!

Our wedding cake was amazing thanks to Nancy! It was just as we described how we wanted it and she was also very accommodating when it came to trying out all the delicious flavors. For much of the wedding planning process, we lived out of state in CA and she sent us all of the flavor combinations free of charge and was very responsive via email. Our guests couldn't get enough of our cake as well. I would most definitely recommend Tiers of Joy to anyone looking for a wedding cake!
