When we had a cake tasting here, it was the clear winner for us. Ann was very helpful and attentive throughout the tasting, taking notes of what we liked as we went through pictures and tried flavors. The buttercream is the real deal - so rich. The cakes were dense and moist which I loved, and the fillings we tried were all good. They have so many great cake designs to choose from, and they were willing to work with any pictures we provided if we wanted something particular that wasn't shown. The cake on our actual wedding day was delivered without issue and ended up tasting even better than I remember. Would recommend!

Delicious and beautiful cake!!

We got our wedding cake from Three Tarts Bakery and it was beautiful and delicious! Anne was patient and helpful with I changed my mind a couple times. I was very pleased on the wedding day when I saw the beautiful cake and was even more pleased when we tasted it.

Our wedding cake exceeded all of my expectations, and not only was it delicious but it was gorgeous!!

This is the greatest bakery in the Chicagoland area! I would recommend for everyone to get their wedding cake from this bakery. Every cake is homemade, from scratch, with all natural ingredients. We are still getting compliments on how fabulous the cake tasted- not too sweet, it was just right! The bakery offers so many different choices for cake flavors, fillings, decor... you really can get whatever you want. We had yellow cake with strawberries and pastry cream as one filling and ganache as the second filling... I had a friend who had banana cake with ganache filling for her wedding cake... yum! They are so talented and flexible - No bakery around will make you a cake so beautiful or delicious!

Kate Coyne (owner and cake decorator) always produces the best looking, finished, gorgeous, wonderful cakes I have ever seen! She can adapt to your specific wedding colors, plans, and ideas - and has an amazing knack for coming up with something that will work best for you if you are at a loss for ideas! You should check them out for ALL your events! (They can even do favors for your wedding... and I even used them for the morning of my wedding to provide danish, muffins, and tea sandwiches!) Three Tarts Bakery is the best bakery in the entire world. :)

My wedding cake was lovely! If you love flowers, their designers are truly artisans. The cake was delicious. The selections are varied. I had a chocolate, chocolate cake with whipped cream and raspberry filling. The raspberry tasted so fresh!

Three Tarts is where we get our cakes for everything, birthdays, graduations, random cheer up cakes, etc. My sister got her wedding cake there and it was beautiful so i decided to get mine there too. My mom was delegated with cake duties, she placed the order and dealt with the bakery. I drew a picture of how i wanted the cake to look. I wanted stars all over it, like someone sprinkled a bucket of stars down onto the cake. I wanted it to look very organic and chic. It ended up looking a little too cartoon-y, cute and symmetric for my taste but it didn't really matter. we did the cake cutting real quick and got back on the dance floor. The caterer cut the bottom layer and we served that to guests who wanted it. We didn't really give the cake much if any attention which was fine with us. We only did it b/c Three Tarts cakes taste so good. And this one did taste great and looked fine enough, but the staff my mom spoke with gave her a bit of a headache when ordering it. They weren't very receptive to what she was telling them, she even brought in the picture i drew, which was VERY simple, and they were trying to steer her into doing something else, but it didn't quite matter b/c i didn't care too much about the cake to begin with. I think they do much better with flowers than inanimate objects... But we will still go to them for cakes. It didn't sour them for us. Also they give you a free one yr anniversary cake too when you order a wedding cake! That's nice. I got the 3 tier 4 6 8" cake and it was perfect. They tried to get us to order a larger one but since we weren't serving the cake on a large scale we didn't upgrade and kept the smaller taller one.

*note that my sister's cake was wrapped in saran wrap and frozen so we could eat it a year later and it was perfectly good.

I used Three Tarts to bake my cake for my wedding. The cake design was perfectly done. At the tasting, I had to try a few different cakes before finding a great one. After multiple confirmations, they delivered by wedding cake on time, but they did not bring the groom's cake. They did eventually brought the cake during the middle of the reception. I had a lot of compliments from my guests on the wedding cake.
