Three Sisters Barn is a family-owned event venue in Dallas Center, Iowa. Set in the fields of central Iowa, this barn comes as a canvas that couples may decorate to fufill their vision. May through October are most popular times for weddings here, whereas December to April are off-peak. We offer unique 3-day booking for one price to allow for a more enjoyable and stress-free wedding!

Facilities and Capacity

In the barn, you and your new spouse can celebrate with up to 350 family members and guests. You may choose to celebrate outside as well. Either way, your reservation covers use of tables and chairs, portable bar, upstairs changing rooms, and caterer’s kitchen, and other amenities at no extra cost. There is a stage to hold the ceremony, and the bridal table at a reception. A vaulted ceiling with chandeliers add drama. The barn’s interior is native wood and plenty of natural light from 8 large picture windows and a unique round window on the mezzanine to enhance the quality of your wedding day photos. Outside you will enjoy views of verdant fields, prairie grass, and an open area to dance barefoot in the grass.

Services Offered

At Three Sisters Barn, you’ll have the option to work with external vendors for things like your food and cake, or you can make your own. Our manager is onsite during your wedding, and is available at all times for your weekend.

We do the cleaning at the end of your wedding, you just need to de-decorate.

History

Three Sisters Barn came to be after owner Glenace Baldner decided to repurpose the family barn. She had the idea in 2014 to give some TLC to the structure that had been in her family since 1910. The venue’s name is a nod to the three generations of three sisters in her family. Family is at the core of the venue’s roots.

Location

Parking is available at Three Sisters Barn, a wheelchair-accessible venue. It is part of a family-owned working farm. The surround fields and rolling hills are soothing, with native prairie grass planted around the barn and a large open area for outdoor ceremonies. There is a playset for youngsters.
