Three Sisters Barn is a family-owned event venue in Dallas Center, Iowa. Set in the fields of central Iowa, this barn comes as a blank canvas that couples may decorate and dress up as they see fit. May through October would be an especially popular time here, whereas January to April and November and December are off-peak times.

Facilities and Capacity

In the barn, you and your new spouse may party with 300-some of your VIPs. Or you could celebrate outside. Either way, your reservation covers use of the stage, coat room, portable bar and “kegerator,” changing rooms, and caterer’s kitchen, along with heating and air conditioning. The views aren’t to be topped at this venue with plenty of grass to dance in and plenty of options for hosting there: You may book Three Sisters Barn for your rehearsal dinner, engagement party, ceremony, bridal shower, elopement and/or wedding reception. The barn’s interior was very deliberately designed, with a natural wood ceiling and plenty of natural light that will enhance the quality of your wedding day photos.

Three Sisters Barn invites clients to make use of the bridal suite and wireless internet. If you book them, you’ll have the option to work with external vendors for things like your food and cake.

History

Three Sisters Barn came to be after owner Glenace Baldner Shank decided to repurpose the family barn. She had the idea in 2014 to give some TLC to the structure that had been in her family since 1910. The venue’s name is a nod to the three generations of three sisters. Family is at the core of the venue’s roots, and it’s also hoped that those using the space will celebrate with those who are closest to them, too.
