Facilities and Capacity

At Schafer Barn on the Hill, you can prepare in style in to-be-wed spaces. The Red Shed Hunting Lodge and the Barn on the Hill Bridal Suite are both within convenient walking distance of the Barn. You can hold your ceremony outdoors in a custom-built 5400-square-foot space. This is a stunning area, constructed from tree-sized beams and logs, then detailed with artistic metal fasteners from a local welder’s shop. After your ceremony, you and your guests can then proceed through the wooden barn doors into the Barn itself. This is a spacious venue that can host groups of between 50 and 600 guests for indoor events. The Schafers took an existing barn and remodeled it into this impressive space, adding a catering kitchen, bar, large bathrooms, and get-ready rooms. Your reception in the Barn is set to be an unforgettable night for you and your closest.

Services Offered

Schafer Barn on the Hill hosts rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, and receptions. Packages are available for single-day or weekend rentals of the venue. The single-day packages are flexible and can include weekdays. The all-inclusive weekend package offers two days prior to your event for preparations and two days afterward for teardown and cleanup. You and your guests can avail of shuttle transport from parking to the venue via themed buses or antique tractor and hayrack rides. After the sun sets, you can all enjoy a fireworks display - a vivid moment for you to cherish.

To-be-weds get first preference on booking the Barn on the Hill Bridal Suite and The Red Shed Hunting Lodge for their accommodation.
