Thomas House and Garden offers both an indoor and outdoor event space to host your wedding celebration. The interior of the property boasts an abundance of historic charm, ideal for elopements or intimate wedding events of up to 40 guests. Surround yourself with the warm and inviting ambiance of this space, featuring 100-year-old wallpaper, heart pine floors, six beautiful fireplaces, and beadboard ceilings. This space can be styled to suit a ceremony, cocktail hour, or seated reception for your convenience.
The outdoor event space at Thomas House and Garden features a beautiful pergola, perfect for exchanging your vows against the beautiful backdrop of this property.
The house also includes a spacious get-ready room measuring over 1,500 square feet. This space provides perfectly for all your wedding preparation needs, featuring large windows to facilitate natural light, plenty of space, and ample seating areas.
Also located on the property is an original stepping stone, a granite step that was installed to assist ladies when entering a horse-drawn carriage. These wonderful historical elements provide unique photo opportunities and add a sense of history and old-world charm to any wedding event.

Thomas House and Garden is a southern fairytale!
Jessica is also a talented photographer who made us feel at ease come photo time. During one of the photos, she says to me, “Derek, put your arms around your wife.” and it just kind of hit me at that moment, “WE’RE MARRIED!” The photos also turned out perfect. The house provided for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, it was the definition of southern charm. The garden portion of Thomas House and Garden could use a little work to create a truly magical wedding venue.
Our day was a fairytale and we owe Jessica and Team our gratitude for making the day magical. If you’re planning a small ceremony, less than 50, you should seriously consider Thomas House and Garden, you will not be disappointed.
