Theo was wonderful! He is incredibly easy to work with. He was very responsive and easily accessible when I reached out to him. He made for a very comfortable shoot and didn’t make us feel like total dorks in front of the camera.
My husband turned into a model working with Theo *cue my eye roll* haha, but that is the kind of environment he creates - safe, nonjudgemental and patient. He is great at giving direction and has a remarkable eye. I loved that the package we got included an engagement shoot and our wedding photos. Our photos are all over our home and I just cannot get enough of them!!

He has a great eye for candid / capturing the moment photos with great lighting... they're really more like works of art than wedding photos! We are so thankful that Theo was our photographer! When I was searching for a wedding photographer, every time I found a photo I loved he was the photographer behind the shot. I love how he captures candid moments, something I knew I wanted for our photos. Theo also takes unique photos that we felt not just any photographer would think of. He did our engagements, my bridals, and our wedding day. Each time we had a session with him, we had so much fun. Theo has brilliant ideas with posing and always finds the perfect lighting. We were a little nervous for our engagement shoot, but he has such a relaxed demeanor that it was easy to take photos. Every time we get a gallery back from him, we are stunned by his work. Once again, on our wedding day, he quickly came up with ideas for great shots. The day after our wedding (we were both surprised), Theo sent us teasers from the wedding and we were blown away by his work. My husband and I are excitedly waiting for more photos. We honestly feel like Theo is one of the best photographers we have seen.

We were absolutely blown away by Theo!! So grateful we came across his portfolio and chose him to do our photography. First meeting he had lots of great questions to figure out our plan so he would be prepared to capture everything. After booking, he didn't just forget about us - he was available to answer questions about lighting, etc while we were planning everything else through the venue. He checked in during the week leading up to the wedding for a final timeline. Wedding day he showed up early and didn't waste a moment - getting shots of the venue and my dress and flowers as well as all the precious getting-ready photos. He was so professional and such a happy, wonderful personality to be around on your wedding day. No matter how many times he had to rearrange the train on my dress or jump outside into the heat of Houston in July, he was committed to getting great shots and he was smiling and excited to do it! His second shooter was also excellent, and didn't need to wait for direction from Theo - he just jumped right in and worked really well as a team. We got our teasers and OH MY GOSH! I don't even have the words for how beautiful they are. It's just stunning. Theo's photography is truly an art. He captured emotions I didn't even remember having, which I guess is a testament to how great he is at discretely catching important moments without interrupting them. Both the portraits and the candids are amazing and exactly what I was hoping for. You can absolutely trust him with your wedding photos. I would choose him a thousand times!!!

I am so beyond glad that our wedding planners suggested Theo! He met us at a coffee shop near our house, and we instantly knew he would be a great fit for us. Theo is laid-back, loves what he does, and clearly knows what he is doing. He (along with the help of his now wife- congrats!) answered all of my many engagement outfit questions to make sure we got the best pictures possible. Now that is above and beyond! Theo was very easy to work with the entire time. For example, we were trying to go to Galveston for engagement pictures and the weather was consistently awful for weeks. He kept in constant communication with us and was more than understanding when we had to reschedule a million times because of weather. We all finally decided to go and although we had sun on the Strand, we were met with a ton of fog on the beach. You could barely see anything. Theo ran with it, and we got some amazing shots! He can roll with the punches and create beautiful shots no matter what! Also, feeling comfortable with your photographer is really important when you have to get super close with your fiancée with a camera nearby during engagement pictures or wedding pictures, and we could not recommend Theo more! He quickly calmed our nerves and laughed with us the whole time. Theo suggested I send him a Pinterest board of photos I liked so that he could get a feel for the kind of pictures we wanted so that he could match the style or get certain poses we loved. He took most of our pictures with us in motion, and it made them look so much more candid (which my husband and I both are usually awful at any candid shots so Theo had his work cut out for him). On the day of the wedding, we barely even noticed them during the actual ceremony and reception…and yet they got amazing close up, candid shots! Our 2nd photographer, Brittany, was beyond nice and so much fun as well! I am amazed with the quality we got for the price with this pair!

CUSTOM EVERYTHING! The man is a genius! Theo and Ashley have gone above and beyond all of my expectations. From our engagement photos to our wedding day photos. The skill the dimension the class, is just out of this world! I heard about Theo from a friend who had him do her engagement session. Theo is our officially forever photographer!!!! First off, 5 stars is not enough, even the most detailed review wouldn’t do his work ethic and photography justice (as my review comes very belated). Pre-Wedding: The first time I spoke with Theo I knew he was hired and I had yet to meet him in person. As New York City residents, my husband and I planned a Houston wedding from 1,500 miles away . On our first call Theo and I spoke for about an hour and I thought I had known him for years by the end of our conversation. Theo is extremely personable, professional, creative and talented beyond his competition. He responded in a timely manner, he would accommodate the time difference and even my husband’s demanding work schedule to speak with us. He listened to my ideas, bounced ideas back, welcomed questions, and most importantly, he was receptive. Wedding Day: Theo and his second photographer arrived on time and dapper, visibly excited, enthusiastic and eager to get things started. Without direction or wasting a second, they dove right into the day. Both photographers were genuinely kind, calming, helpful, encouraging and patient the entire day!! They had new ideas as the day progressed and were not hesitant to take control of a rowdy wedding party…or get in the middle for incredible action shots!! They even offered recommendations (posing, lighting, etc.) to guests!!! There was not a single moment where I turned around and Theo was not there capturing every memory. It was astounding to see the consistent effort from both photographers for 10 hours straight.
When we received our beautiful wedding album, I was honestly blown away. The detail and effort put into our album undoubtedly reflects his work ethic, his passion and what he is meant to do. Looking back, I don’t see Theo as just a wedding vendor at our wedding – he directly contributed to our perfect day from start to finish, becoming an irreplaceable part and giving us the best gift possible.

Theo is the 'Apple' of photography. He gets it - from lighting to composition, to editing and final packaging. He is outstanding to work with and has great communication skills. We had a blast working with him on our engagement, bridal and wedding day photos. He is nothing short of an artist, has a very talented eye for detail and does not cut any corners.
