An absolutely stunning cake for my 40th birthday!! I was surprised with a cake from The Cake Shop of San Jose and though it's been several months now, just thinking of it brings a huge smile to my face. My favorite shoes are from John Fluevog and the creative staff went above & beyond to create a beautiful cake showcasing various Fluevog shoes - eek! The cake itself was moist and perfect, the raspberry filling was superb. I will continue to highly recommend this lovely cake shop to anyone that I hear of who is looking for a delicious and beautiful cake for any event.

This company is a hidden treasure in Jacksonville, FL. If you want an "Ace of Cake" type of cake, look no further than this company! We had two cakes designed by this company and it was awesome and took the breath away from the guests. One cake was a movie reel with pictures of the actress who the cake was made along with a director's chair which was also edible. The other cake was three-tiered floral design which included an edible dog. Honestly, brides and grooms need to contact this place for your wedding cake of your dreams. The staff is wonderful to work with and very creative. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure!!!!

Gail and her team were absolutely amazing! We had ordered a red velvet cake with chocolate chips. Gail was very polite and sweet as can be. At the first tasting, we fell in love witht the texture and taste of the cake. It was a different but refreshing taste to the red velvet. Our only comment was that we wanted more chocolate chips. For the Wedding, Our cake was beautifully decorated with White Starfish to fit our beach wedding and had Tons of Chocolate Chips just as we asked. We couldn't have asked for a better cake.

My fiance and I wanted nutella cupcakes as part of our cupcake tower for our wedding and this vendor offered to make them even though they are not a normal item for the shop. We sampled the nutella cupcakes and they were amazing! We ended up with a cupcake tower with nutella, chocolate peanut butter, carrot cake, and vanilla with vanilla frosting. Our wedding guests loved the cupcakes. We also had a 1 tier cake for ceremonial cutting purposes and it was decorated beautifully. Gail was great throughout the process in dealing with my many questions.
