Loved working with Kary Taylor and the team at Wichita Boathouse and Xclusive Events. Professional and responded quickly to all questions and requests. Bonus--when you book the Boathouse, you automatically book Xclusive for all of the bartending needs. Multiple packages and options to choose from--its like they really care about your event and are invested in making everything run smoothly. The venue is beautiful, so we were able to keep our decoration simple/elegant. Guests can explore the grounds and the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame museum on the first level, during the downtime between ceremony and reception.

This venue has it all. It is so beautiful on it's own that it requires very little decoration and has much needed amenities like multiple bathrooms, a kitchen, and ice maker, and an elevator. The wrap around porch was so fun so our guests could spread out. 5 stars!

The best decision we made for our wedding was to have it at the Wichita Boathouse! Laura and her team are fantastic, responsive and helpful through the planning process. We had our ceremony on the grass by the river, which makes for a beautiful setting. The downtown vibe was awesome, walking distance to many hotels and restaurants, unlimited parking and a great highlight of downtown Wichita. We loved the freedom of bringing in our own vendors (except Alcohol Services) and felt the KSHOF gave us the flexibility to be creative with our decorations! Our 145 guests were comfortable and happy - photos turned out amazing of the space & I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in Wichita! Thank you, Laura!

Laura worked with me 150% as we were coming in from out of town to hold our wedding and reception there! Very helpful from start to finish !!

My fiance' and I looked at many different venues. We decided it would be very convenient to have our ceremony and reception at the same location. The boathouse has a beautiful room with large windows and beamed ceilings. I had a vision for my wedding and am obsessed with white everything. I completely tulled the ceiling with a chandelier in the middle, it turned out perfect. Laura was the coordinator and is fabulous. She was easy to contact and always responded promptly. Laura let us go in the day before the wedding to decorate because they did not have any events scheduled at no additional cost! Could not have been happier!

We just finished having our wedding at the Boathouse and LOVED it! It was the perfect venue for us! The venue is very nice, clean, has amazing views, and makes great pictures! The ENTIRE staff is extremely nice and helpful. My e-mails were always answered quickly and professionally. When I would stop by to plan things out everyone was helpful and attentive. We had both our ceremony at the Boathouse and the reception and it was just what we wanted! Having two floors allowed our guests to not see the reception space until it was ready and a lot of our guests really enjoyed the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on the first floor! The wedding day went smooth and easy with the staff setting up chairs and tables, guiding our guests, congratulating us, securing the outside of the venue, and so much more! Every bit of this venue was worth the money and I wish that we could re-do our wedding day all over again!

Booking the Boathouse as our reception venue was perfect! We booked on a Friday evening and everything was wonderful. Laura and her staff were all very polite and patient with all of our questions and constantly coming up to measure and take pictures. Decorating was also a breeze on Thursday afternoon as the staff and facility were nice and everything was cleaned. The reception was terrific as well. The staff and security were there the entire evening in case we needed anything. We also got lucky and the home Wingnuts game shot off fireworks and because of the location of the Boathouse and the balcony, all of our guests were able to enjoy the firework show and we got beautiful pictures with them. The Boathouse was wonderful!

I had my reception at the Boathouse and it turned out to be great! Laura was very helpful in the preparations and was very willing to have us come and do whatever we needed to do. The facility makes a great venue for a reception, I loved it!
