Being a non skinny bride I was worried about going and trying on dresses. I'd heard stories about places being down right rude to plus sized girls. White dress was not rude in the slightest. My size never came up, no back handed comments either, they had pulled dresses in the sizes I had specified on the getting to know you sheet. They didn't try to push the most expensive dresses either. They listened to what I was wanting in a wedding dress and did their best to deliver, which they did.

I had the best bridal experience there with Cynthia as my consultant and also the help of Daniel which are two of the greatest consultants I had ever met. I recommend the white dress for any bridal needs!

They have dresses for ALL prices ranges! And a great selection of dresses for different season!

I had trepidation regarding choosing attire - I was afraid that a dress company wouldn't serve us because my wife and I are gay, plus I wanted to wear a suit and my wife was the one who wanted the fancy white dress, so plenty of dread going in.

The experience was painless. My wife called and made an appointment for a Saturday, we were greeted in a friendly manner, and the gentleman who assisted us with choosing a style and trying out the different dresses made a lot of great suggestions. The one my wife ended up choosing was the one she had her eye on the entire visit, but she wanted to try it on last to give the others a chance. Turns out, it was the one!

The sale was great and kept us in our budget, we had plenty of time to pick the dress up, we had it steamed during the week before the wedding, and I'm planning on having it preserved through the White Dress of Lexington. Everything has gone smoothly, the staff is attentive and friendly and remembered us every time one of us came in, and it was a pleasant experience overall.

The White Dress was great! I went to every bridals store in Lexington and they had the largest and most diverse selection by far. The staff was accommodating but not pushy. Jolene let me and my family pull any dress we wanted without rushing us at all. She even pulled a couple that I never would have thought of myself but loved on! Once I found "the dress" she let me try on multiple veils and belts without every getting frustrated. I would definitely recommend The White Dress!

The White Dress provided both THE perfect dress and shopping experience for my daughter's wedding! We went to other bridal shops but did not receive the individual attention we did at The White Dress. Dana Harvey was absolutely fabulous picking dresses which fit my daughter's vision and her venue. She was able to find a dress in our budget but that looked WAY over budget! She and everyone at the shop were genuinely nice and wanted to make this a great experience for everyone. They were realistic about the timeframe for getting her dress back after ordering which helped in our planning. The dress came in earlier than expected which gave us plenty of time for minor alterations. The dress looked absolutely perfect for my daughter. I would recommend Dana and The White Dress to anyone looking for not only a beautiful wedding dress but a wonderful wedding experience for their daughter!

Can't say enough about how fabulous the ladies at the The White Dress of Lexington are! They provided the dresses for the bride, the entire wedding party, and the mother of the bride. Julia and Dana are a joy to work with. They listened to our ideas, helped the bride find the perfect dress, provided the name of a great person to do alterations, and helped with ideas for accessorizing. They respond quickly to questions and or concerns. They are knowledgeable, and their store has SO MANY options! Brides will be thrilled to shop there! I will actually miss working with them! Pleasant and stress-free experience. We knew we were in very good hands!
