el, the event coordinator. She constantly eased my anxiety and made me feel excited instead of stressed. She was always transparent and helpful. There are so many beautiful places everywhere you look. The property is very well kept and there is attention to detail at every step. It was amazing to have our closest family and friends staying with us on-property. We all loved sitting by the fire and hanging out after events or having a cup of coffee together in the morning. The whole weekend was perfect and we can't say enough about the amazing team of people that bent over backwards to make our events run smoothly. Thank you!

The Vineyard at High Holly was nothing but AMAZING! After looking at a few venues, we knew instantly when we met Lesley that this was the place for us! As a same sex couple, she did not skip a beat when meeting us for the first time!  From the tour, to communication, from big details, to all the small details- Lesley and her team made our wedding a dream come true. We truly felt like we gained friends in her and Michelle, the Chef! Speaking of food, the rehearsal dinner and reception dinner were phenomenal! The in house chef, Michelle made the planning so easy for what we wanted to serve our guests and highly suggest the sliders as a late night snack! The Vineyard at High Holly is the perfect wedding getaway and you get treated like family! Lesley was our day of coordinator and made our vision come to fruition even better than we could imagine. She brought our vision into pure elegance and somehow made the Vineyard even more stunning than it already it is. The whole day leading up to the ceremony, we were able to relax and spend our day with family and close friends as we got ready because we knew with Lesley as our coordinator, everything was taken care of with the most attention to detail. We almost had a hiccup with our wedding cake the day before and when I told Lesley, we instantly agreed to not tell my future wife and we’d figure out a plan. Within 30 seconds she already volunteered to run into to town to the grocery store to buy them out of cakes to make sure we had cake to serve our guests! I would without a doubt highly recommend The Vineyard at High Holly for anyone’s wedding if you want a team who truly cares about you and has so much passion into their family vineyard. 

My daughter had the most majestic wedding at The Vineyard at High Holly this year! We chose to use Lesley as our wedding planner and it was the best decision ever besides the choice to have it at the vineyard itself! Since we were living in Florida at the time, we had to do the majority of the planning meetings via zoom with Lesley, and it truly worked out very well with our schedules. Lesley was so great at giving us amazing and unique suggestions for the wedding so that my daughter’s wedding would have the one of a kind uniqueness that every bride to be wants! As my daughter was looking for a garden themed wedding, Lesley came up with amazing ideas that complimented the theme, like having colorful umbrellas for the audience, which turned out to be super helpful since it provided shade as well as protection from the sprinkling of lucky rain that graced us all! But truly, from helping us find an incredible florist, to helping create a beautiful and personalized table scape to the overall unique floor layout, to finding us a DJ that specifically met our needs, Lesley helped to give my daughter a gorgeous wedding experience that was one of a kind and highly personalized. As a note though, the setting of The Vineyard at High Holly is truly breathtaking just by itself, so even if one did not want to add on extras it would still be gorgeous. One of the highlights of the wedding in which Lesley coordinated, was the arrival of a marvelously well behaved family of Llamas that stood as decoration during the ceremony and then provided incredible opportunities for photos during cocktail hour, it was like a fairytale!!! Let us not forget the incredible food though.. They have a chef that does a phenomenal menu of literally anything in the world you could think of… and the quality of the food is absolutely exquisite! Lesley and her amazing chef met with us together on zoom for quite a while talking about all the options to choose from and were able to give us everything we wanted and worked hard to make sure it was within our budget too! The day of the wedding Lesley went from already being amazing in helping us to plan everything but becoming literally superhuman in making sure each and every detail was taken care of. There was always a golf cart arriving whenever anyone needed to be taken anywhere readily available and Lesley would pop in to make sure we had everything we needed frequently during the day. In fact, she even hemmed my husband’s pants at the last minute- god bless her!!! I don’t know how she does it, but she manages to do about fifteen things at once and still do them all well… and she truly does care and wants the experience to be everything you have dreamed of and more, and will go ten extra miles to make sure that it happens. If you are looking to have the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime and also want it to be a retreat for your guests, The Vineyard at High Holly is the perfect place to make it all happen!

What do you do when the hurricane turns right, instead of left on your wedding weekend? Answer: you have the wedding of your dreams if you are at the Vineyard at High Holly.

Paulina and Joel worked 18 months on their dream September 28, 2024 wedding. Forecasters expected Hurricane Helene to make landfall and turn west so guests arrived early to avoid travel delays. Then Helene turned east and sat over western North Carolina. The road to Highlands washed out, many trees fell, and there was no power, water, cell service, internet or WIFI at High Holly. The rental vendor cancelled, and we had no idea if the cake, DJ, or photographers would appear. Fortunately, the wedding planner had arrived, but her assistants were stranded in Asheville along with the hair and makeup people.

Lesley went into full problem-solving mode and found a way to overcome all obstacles including to provide everything expected from the rental company. Eric went through 8 chain saws clearing downed trees. Michelle strapped on a headlamp and started cooking in the dark. Everyone dug in and made sure that the wedding was everything that the bride and groom dreamt of. I cannot imagine a more dedicated, hard-working and compassionate group!

And the wedding…the most magical, fun and beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to!

Weddings take much planning, hard work and come with great heartfelt expectations. Many times, hiccups arise. When choosing the wedding venue, anticipate how the venue will handle the surprises. The Vineyard at High Holly proved that they didn’t let a devastating hurricane come in the way of fulfilling Paulina and Joel’s dream wedding. There aren't enough words to express how amazing my daughter's wedding was thanks mostly to The Vineyard at High Holly. The vineyard and landscape alone are enough to make any wedding beautiful. However, it was Lesley and her staff that made it an unforgettable experience. From the day Savanna and I "happened" upon The Vineyard, Lesley was there to answer any question, ensure everything was taken care of by coordinating with vendors, and also helping us with things we didn't even think about.

Where to begin!? My husband and I got married on May 17,2025. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect and seamless throughout the whole weekend! Lesley and her entire team were so amazing from the very start. From checking in and making sure we had everything we need to being there for us if we needed something during our stay. The vineyard has so much to offer for a wedding from the beautiful cottages, different areas to relax, the magical ceremony space, and spectacular pavilion! The Lloyd Family - June 2025

We had our wedding here, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Lesley, the owner, is so kind and thoughtful. When a last-minute hiccup happened with our welcome wall, she hand-painted it herself — just to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. We are so grateful! She was there the whole time checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Our family stayed in the cutest, coziest cabins — everyone loved them! Throughout the weekend, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The staff members and Lesley picked us up in golf carts and drove us wherever we needed to go, which made everything feel effortless. The vineyard itself is breathtaking — it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it all was. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Jacob and I got married at High Holly on April 12th, 2025. I want to first start by saying the venue is beyond beautiful and accommodates perfectly for a weekend-long wedding celebration. Lesley went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was planned flawlessly. Michelle, the chef, made both rehearsal and reception dinners DELICIOUS! Our timeline flowed perfectly throughout the day, and not once did we feel rushed. We HIGHLY recommend The Vineyard at High Holly for any event, especially weddings! Can't wait to go back an enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the vineyard.

Lesley and the Vineyard at High Holly was the dream location for our wedding! We knew it the second we first stepped on the property for a tour. The location itself is stunning, hidden away in the mountains of North Carolina, but what Lesley and the team have done with the venue takes it to another level! All the cottages and houses are beautiful and clean, and the vineyard and pavilion are picturesque. In fact, it was so stunning, that we only used minimal decorations. The high ceilings in the pavilion, the flowers and the vineyard view, all stand on their own. The best part was the ideal backup plan in the case of rain. I didn't have to worry that we wouldn't get beautiful views if the weather didn't hold.

Lesley was also our day-of coordinator and made sure everything went seamlessly. When the inevitable little bumps in the road occurred, she jumped on it and provided multiple solutions. She made it an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Her staff and the chef, Michelle, were incredible, and all my guests raved about the food – I definitely recommend booking the Vineyard team for day-of coordination, catering, and staffing.

The Vineyard at High Holly was everything we could of hoped for and will forever be intertwined with our love story. The professionalism, passion, and kindness of Lesley and her team are second to none, and I can't thank them enough.
