Included in the venue's starting fee are set-up and clean-up services, as well as essentials like tables, chairs, and linens. When I , Gloria Ortega, part owner and General Manager of “The Venue” started my entrepreneur journey back in 2003, I had one mission in mind - helping people through the delivery of trustworthy, detail-oriented and personable event planning.
Originally from Miami, Fl, I have a business degree and am a wedding planner and party coordinator. I spent much of my early professional life in the Engineering field until I discovered my passion in culinary and events planning.Through these experiences, I learned to listen to customers and respond with attention to detail and commitment to excellence especially in the culinary field. As a student in the Hospitality Management degree in FIU, I also helped create the Wine and Food Festival in Miami.
I opened my first venue, “Royal Palace Ballroom” back in 2006 and my second “Regal Palace” in 2013. Today, I carry the same values in “The Venue”. With thousands of events under our belts, our team understands the importance of listening to your needs and always surpassing your expectations.
I work where I live in the Savannah, Ga area with my husband and family. When I’m not serving The Venue customers, I love spending time with the family embarking on new adventures in our beautiful town.
