Summer Wedding *details*

My fiancee and I had an overall wonderful experience booking, planning and hosting our June wedding with the Valley Villa team. There are some detriments, as well as praises, we would hope future couples booking this space can be aware of.

The venue coordinator Gia was lovely, easy to work with and professional—always offering timely and clear information throughout the process.

The venue is stunning and accessible—though communication about the parking service was confusing and unresponsive. However, on the big day everything ran smoothly. There was ample but cozy space for our near 190 guests and vendors. Note that linens and chairs are not included, but 6 foot rectangular tables are (if you want circular you’ll have to rent, as we did). The Villa also offers extra packages for overnight and extended stays.

Some of the booking inclusions—especially the photographer—left much to be desired. We paid extra for the photographer to stay longer, yet he left minutes before our send off after he was significantly late. We are especially disappointed to not have professional photos of our departure. The entire day was timed around pictures (as most weddings are) so we are quite saddened how it turned out. His lack of English made for a challenging and uncomfortable shooting experience, in addition to errors spoiling the first look and inconsistent snapshots. I would not be surprised if this was his first wedding. Many pictures, especially the procession, were shot so poorly it was shocking—it should not take a Nobel laureate to take more than one picture and to time them effectively. So, despite the good quality of a few pictures (attached), I would highly advise you bring and pay for a photographer you’ve worked with previously as these will be what you use to remember the day forever.

Again, the parking service’s lack of communication was frustrating for an extended period, but the last minute coordination ran professionally.

The bartending service that was recommended by the venue should be avoided at all costs. Two of the bartenders were drinking the alcohol we provided and even attempted to join the dance floor. They also ended the night by attempting to steal the alcohol by placing it in a far corner during the pandemonium of exiting the space, but was fortunately noticed by a family member.

The security service was exceptional, and there are absolutely no hidden fees!

All of our guests were wowed by the venue and had a positive experience. The neighborhood where the venue resides does pose some issues, with a sound ordinance that requires celebrations go inside at 10pm and an entirely unrealistic decibel requirement. Unfortunately for us, security began to haggle my DJ starting at 9:20pm due to a noise complaint which required a reset and shuffle inside. Luckily the vibes were picked up promptly.

My wife and I highly recommend the Valley Villa for future couples looking to be wed in the saturated market of LA. We are extremely happy with the experience,

Hidden Treasure Venue

My fiancè and I got engaged January 6, 2024 and the first thing we tackled was getting a venue that was available on our desired wedding date. I contacted a few hotel venues and then this location. Scheduling a tour of the venue was very easy. We were greeted by Gia, property manager who was one of the reasons we decided to move forward with the venue. The whole Valley Villa team were very friendly and made an integral part of making our wedding a dream come true. The venue is stunning and pictures don't do it justice. This location does offer night stays as well as long as it's up to 12 guests. All of our wedding guests were speechless about the venue. It is truly a hidden treasure. We definitely recommend this venue to any other couple who are looking to have creative freedom of what they want for their special day.

Unbelievable Venue

I couldn't recommend The Valley Villa anymore. Their staff was extremely helpful in making our special day perfect. Everything went as promised and we were even able to stay overnight.

Helpful tip - ask them about getting free photography!!!
