Every appetizer, station, and dessert (seasonal pies!) were fantastic! All of our guests raved about the food. We went for comfort, feel-good foods, and Ariel and his staff hit it out of the park! The staff was all kind, compassionate, and so helpful and friendly.

We had the Ugly Rooster cater our wedding and after-wedding brunch and they were so helpful every step of the way. Food, presentation, and service were all amazing. We’ve received so many compliments on every dish we served and the Ugly Rooster was extremely flexible in helping us achieve our desired menu (hard to only name a few, but some of our favorites from the weekend included the spinach dip, grilled Tuscan chicken, skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, CUPCAKES and corned beef hash) — highly recommend UR for your next catering needs!

With 28 hours notice, they managed to pull of the same planned menu when we had to replace our caterer. But more importantly they pulled off an excellent meal in general, the food was FANTASTIC! Many of our guests commented on the sliders and potato salad especially...
And the professionalism was unparalleled. They didn't blink an eye, or make any voice, about working in a venue without AC in record breaking 107 degree heat, instead they made sure our guests were provided ice packs to cool THEM down! Thank you seems hardly enough for what Ugly Rooster was able to do! 10 stars from this bride/groom!!

The Ugly Rooster worked with me from beginning to end for my sons 11th birthday. It was a backyard bash with kids and adults, and I needed a variety of catering items. The food was great, but the only problem I encountered was I ordered grilled chicken breasts and grilled chicken parts were delivered (thighs/legs/breasts)- These were all supposed to be breasts as ordered for sandwiches. Nothing they could do at the time, nothing offered to me after event, just that they would alert the catering manager. I have another event with them to book in the future, so we will see if they throw something in for their error.

I had the Ugly Rooster cater a brunch at my house last weekend the day after my son’s wedding for around 50 people. They were suppose to bring it at 11:00am. At 11:05 I called the restaurant and she knew nothing about the order. She said she would call the owner and he would call me. It took about 1/2 hour before I got a phone call. They don’t know what happened to my paid order. I have 50 hungry people at my house and no food!!!! I had gone in about 5 days before the wedding and paid for it and on my receipt was the date of my brunch and that I paid cash. I also talked to the manager and told him I was having it delivered. They finally got to my house at about 12:10. They did apologize and gave me back some of my money, so they did try to make it right. However, they are a catering company, how can this happen? The food was alright except the scrambled eggs were cold and dry and I was very disappointed with the fruit platter which was expensive. It only had cantaloupe, honeydew, melon, and a few pieces of pineapple on it. No strawberries or other berries which I was told by their catering director that berries would be on it.
I will never recommend the ugly rooster for catering and I will never go to their restaurant again. They made me cry and I actually got sick from this whole experience. I also never got a “I’m sorry call” from their catering Director.
