The Traveling Kitchen is a wedding caterer based in Palmetto, Florida.

We bring the kitchen to your event, our owner/chef is passionate about his food and his work and our staff is professional and caring.

Your day is our #1 priority. Once we agree on a menu and confirm the date, time and venue; you will not need to worry about the food or any agreed on items from then on. Our staff is dedicated and takes pride in putting on a memorable event for you. The owner and chef is present at all events. His passion as his ‘Dream Job’ is apparent in every dish that he prepares and serves. He loves what he does and it shows.

We bring the kitchen to you, serving 20 person events to 450+ persons events. Nothing is too large or too small. The traveling kitchen proved extremely advantageous when at one wedding there were 150 wedding crashers. The venue was 30 miles from the nearest town but because the kitchen was onsite, no guest went without food. We have also prepared meals for large groups in emergency situations during hurricanes, nursing home renovations and during Covid. We take the kitchen to where ever it is needed.

About our owner. Jimmey has been working in food retail from the age of 14 until 2012 when he purchased his first food truck. A local biker bar gave him the opportunity to setup on on their busiest day, Sunday. For over 3 years Jimmey was there every Sunday doing what he loved to do, making people happy by cooking and serving his food to them. He will always be grateful to Terry, RIP, for trusting in him and letting him fulfill his dream of working for himself. In January of 2019, TK Grill & BBQ Resturant was opened in Palmetto/Parrish. With both the Resturant and Traveling Kitchen food truck, the area has come to love the food prepared by Jimmey.
