We love vacationing to Folly Beach, so when we decided to get married, we had to have the ceremony at Folly Beach. The Tides did a wonderful job with hosting our event! Caitlin Corrigan did a superb job with helping us plan everything. Thanks again for making our day even more special!

The day after my husband proposed, we decided we wanted to have a destination wedding. We live in Missouri, but most of our family is up north and in the Carolinas. We wanted to find a venue that would make planning a destination wedding as easy as possible, and the Tides did it all! My family had vacationed there a couple years ago, so I knew I loved the location and facility. Within the day of contacting them, Senior Sales Manager, Rachel Sneed responded. She answered the multitude of questions I had and responded to each and every phone call and email in a timely manner. She was particularly phenomenal in the few weeks leading up to our wedding when I kept receiving cancellations. She updated our BEO numerous times with our "Final Count."

One of the best things about the Tides is that everything is on site. They make getting married easy! Any doubts we had about using their officiant were quickly put to rest when we met Hope Johnson. We met with her the Wednesday before our ceremony to go over our vows and responsibilities. She immediately made us feel at ease, and we bonded almost instantaneously. We could not have asked for a better person to marry us! She went above and beyond the day of our ceremony. As I was walking down in all my wedding finery to get married, I saw my groom in the hallway. I ducked behind a corner and was attempting to stay out of site when Hope came upon me. She rushed me (and my dog, Max!) through the back doors to her office, gave me a flute of champagne, and talked with me for the next 10 minutes before my ceremony. Any nerves I had were quickly forgotten, AND she kept me from seeing my soon-to-be.

The staff at the Tides were amazing the entire week. I was astounded that they learned our names by the first day. They made us feel at home and were some of the kindest people I have ever met! A special shout out to Hunter! He went above and beyond during our stay! Thank you!!!

The venue was beautiful and all our guests enjoyed staying here leading up to the wedding. I am so glad we chose The Tides for our wedding venue. The food was excellent at the reception and all the staff was amazing and helpful.
