Amy is such a joy to be around. I LOVE her laid back and happy energy. Its very clear that she is confident and happy in her profession and that shows in her work. She did a great job working with me to figure out what shots we would need throughout the day and she worked wonderfully with our dog who was at the ceremony and we wanted photos of. We dragged her every which way constantly all day for photos (sorry!) and she always had a smile on her face and was willing to follow me into the foliage for some of my more 'surrounded by plants' photos i wanted. She truly listens to the wedding party and does her best to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.

my favorite part is she asks if you would like her help in posing you which was GREAT! With all of the wedding fog in our brains and my husband never posing for photos a day in his life this was very much needed and resulted in some BEAUTIFUL wedding photos. The website she provides with your photos after the editing is also STUNNING its so perfect for just sending off to family and friends, no more extra work on your end!

Amy is also such a pleasure, i asked her weeks after we got our photos if she had any more of a specific time of the night and she went back into her files to try and find some for me which means a lot to me. She captured some of the most beautiful moment of my life that day. The photos with my father for our first dance literally made me cry they were so good. I have a bad memory in general and was so scared that one day ill forget my wedding day, but I know with these photos that ill be able to hold on to the memories forever. (plus she even went above and took some amazing photos of guests alone as well which turned out stunning and my guests loved!)

When planning a wedding, there are so many huge decisions; date, location, food, entertainment, clothes. But the biggest decision, in my opinion, is the photography for the wedding. This is what you will look back on, what you will keep and treasure as a witness to your big day. When your specific memories fade, the pictures will still be there, reminding you of every detail that made up one of the most important days of your life. We were getting married in Orlando, even though we lived about three hours away in South Florida, so I started searching for “alternative” photographers in the area. I contacted a BUNCH of places that had lovely samples on their sites and social media accounts and had some lovely conversations with people that are good at what they do. In the end, however, choosing a photographer was the easiest choice we made for our wedding.

The minute I found The Tattooed Bride I stopped looking. Yes, I happened to be a tattooed bride. Yes, I was thrilled that tattoos were celebrated in her photography, instead of being hidden or covered up. Yes, I was thinking it would be a giggle to have “The Tattooed Bride” on my vendor list. But the decision wasn’t really about any of those things. Amy is a force of energy, she is overflowing with smiles and is artistic without being untouchable. She also creates ethereal work. There is a texture to her photos that grabs you under the solar plexus and takes your breath away. She creates images that are otherworldly but raw and real at the same time. She manages to capture those fleeting perfect moments in the spontaneous, enshrining them and keeping them safe for you to look at over and over again. Her and her partner Tim see the world a little differently, as cliché as that sounds, but it’s the truth. Tim and Amy own the Golden Tarot Ink Club tattoo shop in Winter Park, so they are artists through and through. They know about taking a moment and changing it into something that lasts the rest of your days.

In the year between getting engaged and getting married, Tim and Amy became friends. We went to their shop grand re-opening, Tim created and completed a tattoo for me, and there is no doubt in my mind that they will be a part of our lives moving into the future. Amy spent three days with us (Hindu-American weddings are usually multiple days) and was effervescent every single day. On our actual wedding day, Tim pretty much stayed with my husband the entire day, while Amy was with me and their assistant Hannah was running back and forth. When I changed out of my Indian wedding lehenga and into my wedding gown for our reception, it was Amy that buttoned up the back of my dress and saw me “put together” for the first time. They also were videographers (wow, do they have this down pat) and we are so excited to see the final product. If you need photography (or videography, or a tattoo) in the Orlando area (or an elopement, or a destination) I cannot recommend Amy at The Tattooed Bride enough.

Amy & Tim ( her 2nd shooter and husband) did an amazing job during my wedding. I had to reschedule my wedding due to COVID and decided to do a small micro wedding instead.

Amy was super responsive to my emails and texts, she was also professional and had a very warm personality. She asked a lot of questions about my vision and what I wanted, made an itinerary for my wedding, and had a lot of great ideas. I honesty wasn't sure what to ask for and requested a lot of direction and having her take the lead with taking photos since I had never hired a professional photographer before.

She made me and my husband feel very comfortable during my wedding, and after a 2 week turn around, I cried while reviewing my photos. It felt like I invited long lost friends to my wedding bc I just felt so comfortable with the both of them.She did an absolute amazing job capturing a mix of cannon and staged photos. She took photos of things I wasn't sure what to request for, she has such great intuition.

I am so elated to have had Amy and Tim at my wedding to capture the most important moments, I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in wedding photographer.

My package also came with an engagement photoshoot but we weren't ready for it prior to our wedding, she was flexible enough to allow us to schedule it at a later date for a Universal photoshoot or a First Home photoshoot ( can't decide which yet). Would come back for more photos 100/10

From the moment I sent my message to Amy via the website & received her response, I knew she was the photographer that would capture our special day!! Who could pass up donuts at a meet & greet after all?? My fiancé & I met Amy a week later at her & Tim’s, her husband, tattoo studio. We BOTH knew they would be the people who helped us feel like the people we are on such a high stress day! It. Was. More. Than. We. Asked. For. In every single way!!! In January of 2020 we chose a November 2020 wedding & by March the rug was pulled out from under our dream. Amy worked with us for new dates, locations & an entire new timeline. Twice. Lol! It was terrible but amazing all at once. The comfort level established from the moment they walked into our home we knew that we would be able to just be ourselves & have our day captured just as we wished. You can’t pay for that. They are naturally beautiful & that is captured in every picture they take!!!

Amy, The Tattooed Bride, is an amazing artist and professional. She was attentive throughout our wedding planning process and made our wedding day so much fun. Usually, having my photo taken makes me nervous but I didn't feel that way for a second with Amy. She went above and beyond to take all of our photos on our shot list and so many more. My husband and I are so happy to have these images to treasure for the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Amy for your photography needs - her work is extremely high quality and worth much more than her extremely affordable prices. I am so happy that we found The Tattooed Bride on Wedding Wire!

We absolutely loved working with Amy! During our first interaction over text, I was immediately able to pick up on her genuine, fun energy. Due to the pandemic, we were not able to meet her until the actual day of our elopement but there were no worries there as we connected immediately! She is such an amazing, talented photographer for an elopement, especially a nature-based one. She also did above and beyond such as packing an extra pair of boots for our short hike (I forgot to bring one) and was very quick with the editing of our photos. I cannot recommend her enough - so happy I found her. I definitely plan to book her for an anniversary and a boudoir shoot next year. I recommend her to any and everyone!

Hands down the best photographer! We were so in love with the engagement photos that we absolutely HAD to have her for our wedding photos! Amy has THEEE eye for creating and, more importantly, catching spectacular moments. The best part is she does it all so naturally that you never have to worry about making sure you look amazing, she does that for you! She is our forever photographer! Pay the travel fees if necessary, I assure you, you will NEVER be disappointed with her work or professionalism!
