I had a great experience with the bridal/bridesmaids hair and make-up for my wedding. Savannah did a fabulous job with our hair and McKenna did an amazing job with our make-up! They created styles that looked both natural and elegant. I loved that the girls were of fun and listened to our input. Whether you wanted very light eye makeup or a hair spray touch up, the girls were more than happy to accommodate.
I also got my eyebrows waxed at The Salon and they turned out perfect! I have very sensitive skin and fragrance allergies and they used a sensitive wax that didn't leave my eyebrows with any redness! (This was a first for me and I was really impressed!) I would definitely recommend The Studio for wedding hair and make-up.

Myself and 7 bridesmaids got hair and makeup done at the Studio for my wedding. It took a few months to coordinate the pricing, location and time via email (I think someone else took over coordinating weddings). I did go for a trial which was helpful! The day of the wedding they told me the stylist I had my trial with had a personal emergency so they gave me a different stylist. This would have been fine with me however the stylist they told me wasn't working, came in to get makeup supplies for a different wedding offsite. I would have preferred that they just tell me there was a scheduling error instead of making up a reason... Other than that I actually like the stylist I got more than the one from the trial. Both my hair and make up looked so great in the photos. In the end I was very happy with the final product.
Also they let us take over half the studio instead of having them come on site which ended up saving us money and being really fun.

The Studio in Harrisonburg provided beautiful service. My mother, bridesmaids and myself all got our makeup done here (its much cheaper to get it done in the salon like we did, but they do offer on-site services). Ashley, who took care of my MOH and me was so friendly and really nailed what we both wanted. We did not do a trial run since we were not getting our hair done at the salon, so I was a little nervous. You hear horror stories about brides and bridesmaids hating their professional makeup and re-doing it themselves. I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Everyone we interacted with was friendly. My photographer was able to shoot in the salon, which was also awesome. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Thank you, thank you Laura, for the most wonderful styling experience I've had! Our hairstyles complemented each of us perfectly, and held up all night. We really wanted a light and natural make-up style, and Laura was more than willing to help us out! Her personality and energy put us at ease, and helped make it a perfect day.
My mother, bridesmaid and I also got out nails done with Chelsea. We had a great time, and as always (I see Chelsea regularly for gel manicures), my nails were perfect!

I cannot say enough good things about Meg, who did the hair for me and my wedding party. She did a phenomenal job. I have long, think, difficult-to-manage hair, and what she did with it was not only the most beautiful hairstyle I've ever had - it also totally stayed in place right up until I took it down about 12 hours later!! My whole wedding party looked gorgeous too. And BONUS - she was so fantastically lovely to be around! It was like a little party having her over at the house the morning of our big day. The only drawback The Studio is that they were slow to respond in advance of the event - but totally and completely worth it on the day!
