I can't tell you what an AMAZING job the team at Salon at Winter Park did for me, my family and bridesmaids!! We had an 11am wedding and we had to be there early around 6:45am and each stylist made a noticeable effort to be there on time, prepared, and ready to roll! Stacey did my hair and as the bride, I have NEVER received more compliments on my hair!! It was absolutely stunning and beautiful. Gin and Stacie did the bridesmaids, family and my hair and everyone could not have been happier with the result. Our expectations were exceeded by their great customer service!

I also had my makeup done at the salon by Melissa who did an AMAZING job! Along with my hair, my makeup was flawless and perfect!!

Altogether, I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to this salon! The Winter Park Salon takes care of their customers and will make sure your wedding needs are all taken care of!!! Thanks ladies!!!!

My bridal party and some special family members had an entire pre-wedding day at the Salon at Winter Park the day before my wedding. My Matron of Honor booked the appointments in advanced and the salon was able to accommodate all twelve of us! The salon even allowed us to set up a breakfast/mimosa table for us to enjoy while we got our nails done!

Every person we worked with was so sweet and professional. One of my favorite wedding memories is from that spa day when my Mom and now Mother-in-law jumped out of their pedicure tubs to see the moose that just happened to be wandering across the street! Such a fun and special memory I will always remember!

I highly recommend using the Salon at Winter Park for wedding hair and makeup. We had such a big wedding party that we used four of their stylists and they all four did an incredible job!! I loved my hair/makeup for the wedding day. They made the day of the wedding go smoothly and had a calming presence. Highly recommend!!

Megan did a great job with my hair and make up! I showed her pictures of what I wanted and my dress and she created a bohemian up do that was so much better than I had hoped for! She pinned my (very heavy) veil securely, but I was still able to remove it easily and without messing anything up. My hair and make up stayed put all day and night, even with lots of dancing, wind, and tears. She was also able to incorporate a family heirloom in my sister's hair in a tasteful and modern way. All of this was without a trial beforehand and in the house I was staying at in Gand Lake. Highly recommend!

I took a risk and used this vendor without doing a trial run...and it worked out great...I felt gorgeous! We had one person come to our wedding site to do my hair and make-up, and hair for 2 bridesmaids and 4 flower girls. She was ahead of schedule the entire time - way better than running behind! She was willing to re-do two hair styles - one of my bridesmaids requested hers to be different, and one flower girl's fell out from the first style. But both were perfect after the re-do. I wanted natural make-up and for her to work with my natural curly hair, and was extremely pleased with the outcome.

Kaity did a great job on my & my bridal party's hair. Everyone looked so elegant! Brenna also did an amazing job. These ladies made all of us feel so pretty! They were great!

Let me start by saying that there aren't many options for hair and makeup in Winter Park so as a bride you need to be realistic or bring stylists from another locale (which I did for makeup). I found The Salon at Winter Park after being disappointed with a competitor in Winter Park who touted her services as "the best" but who I found had a big ego and had a hard time relating to the bride's vision (something soft for hair and natural for makeup) and left me looking very unnatural after my trial.

So 4 weeks before my wedding, I reached out to The Salon again (when I first called they only had one stylist available to work for my Sunday wedding). Thankfully they called me right back (though the response time earlier had been much slower) and found 3 stylists who would come in on Sunday to do hair for 7 of us.

Without having done a trial, Kelly did my bridal hair in a beautiful soft and natural partial updo without needing much input other than me telling her I wanted a partial updo and something natural. She showed me options and asked for my thoughts and feedback as she was starting and really listened to what I wanted. I have challenging super straight and fine hair that barely holds a curl but she pinned it and thankfully it held most of the curl for the day. Even though it required a lot of hairspray to stay up, she made it look natural, almost as if there was none in it, and spent a lot of time achieving that elegant natural look for me. I highly recommend her for partial updos!

The other stylists were also great - they worked with a variety of gals from age 3 to 89 and everyone's hair (some updos, some blow outs and styles) looked fabulous for our wedding.

Yes, you need to pay each stylist separately and it would be helpful if the Salon warned you about that up front but if you plan an extra 5 minutes to do so it's not that big of an inconvenience. Remember, it's the mountains and most businesses are small businesses.
