An exceptional space with exceptional staff. Rhonda and Bill could not be more wonderful to work with. This church is every Anne of Green Gables lovers dream! It is simply magical!

Absolutely gorgeous site (the pictures on the website don't do it justice), and because they only do one wedding each weekend, you have maximum flexibility planning/setting up for the event - Sheila will give you the key for the whole weekend. There's also an old piano and organ in the church, and since the space is so white, you can really choose any colors you like. We loved it!

Absolutely perfect

Ryssby church was simply perfect for our wedding. We did the entire event outside on the lawn in July. We envisioned a simplistic, casual, whimsical, fun evening and that’s exactly what it was, thanks to the wonderful blank canvas that Ryssby church was. The staff were so helpful and supportive. Any questions we had they were happy to help with, they even provided a bridal tent for me to hangout in before the ceremony.
It was so affordable and incredible. I highly recommend!

This was the perfect ceremony location for our low key, simple, country wedding. The church was a great value and you have use of it for the entire day! It is a one room chapel with a piano. It is beautiful as is and doesn't require a lot of decorating to prepare it for a wedding. There is a big yard and flower beds around the church and a cemetery in back. The drawbacks are that there is no air conditioning for summertime, but we cooled it off with fans before-hand. Also there is a big furnace on one side of the stage. There are a few views blocked because of this, but not too many. It adds to the character of the church in my opinion. There are also big black words painted on the wall behind the pulpit in Swedish or some Dutch language. There are pictures of all of it on the website. There is a bathroom in a small building outside of the main church as well. Perfect place for a no fuss wedding, and in the winter, many people do candlelight services which are beautiful.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
