The Room on Main is a newly renovated, historical ballroom located in downtown Dallas, Texas. This elegant wedding venue can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions in their indoor, sophisticated setting. Their convenient location, timeless elements and amazing photo opportunities make them a venue not to be missed. The Room on Main offers multiple flexible floor plans for intimate gatherings and lavish affairs alike.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 320 guests at this historic venue. Their 6,000-square-foot ballroom is located on the sixth floor of the Dallas Arts Center. It features natural wood floors, antique chandeliers, champagne drapes and 22-foot-tall ceilings. It also boasts 15-foot windows on three sides with gorgeous views of the city. It’s a blank canvas with a neutral color palette that can be decorated as you see fit. Their luxurious bar features a rich wood ceiling, matchstick marble mosaic and an azul granite bartop. This unique space is easily accessible by two elevators, and an inside stairwell.

This classic, indoor wedding venue offers valet parking for you and your guests. There’s a bridal suite on site for you and your bridal party to get ready in that features a bar cart, sofa, full-length mirror and full restroom. Their groom’s lounge boasts a sofa, coffee table, flat screen television and a mini refrigerator. They're within walking distance to hotels such as: Hotel Indigo, Sheraton, Magnolia Hotel and The Adolphus, making their location stress-free for your out-of-town guests. Cuisine
The Room on Main works with CN Caterers to provide you and your guests delicious cuisine. Their amazing menu is filled with fare made from fresh and high-quality ingredients. They offer tastings so you can decide exactly what you would like for your meal, and if you bring in you own cake, they will cut and serve it for you. You have the option of hors d'oeuvres, stations, a buffet, cocktail reception or a plated meal. Sample stations include:

The event was perfect!!!

I have to give kudos to The Room on Main, this includes everyone involved in making our event magical. TJ is a rock star and Christie is right beside him. The parking crew, the kitchen and set up crew, everyone was professional and accommodating. We had no needs that were not taken care of. A good time was had by all and I thank you all for making the event so memorable. I look forward to working with you all again in the near future.

Perfection for my daughter's reception

The Room on Main went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect!! All guest commented the food was amazing and they served all our guest with piping hot food! There was never a wait to get a drink at the bar either. We walked in from the ceremony to absolute jaw dropping perfection! Huge thank you to everyone there!!

Perfection

It has been almost 6 months since our wedding and we can’t stop reminiscing on how perfect the entire day was. Our reception at The Room on Main was truly magical and exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a beautiful, classic city wedding aesthetic and a venue that can accommodate a somewhat larger wedding (over 200 guests) but don’t want a hotel, this is the place. We loved the views, the windows, the historical wood floors and chandeliers. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the room itself, as well as the food which was absolutely fabulous. We worked with David and CN Catering on a custom menu and really wanted to have chicken tikka masala as one of our entree options. It is notoriously hard to get right in our opinion and CN Catering delivered on all fronts. We really could not have been more pleased and if we could do it again, we’d pick The Room on Main/ CN Catering every time!

Amazing Wedding Venue

I knew exactly where I wanted to get married. The Room on Main was the only venue my husband and I toured when picking our venue. I loved the open concept, hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows, and chandeliers. We had a great experience working with them.

One of dallas's best venues!

I have worked at a lot of venues in my years as a Wedding Planner and The Room on Main does it right! The venue is beautiful, it is such a gorgeous open space, it really allows for you to use your imagination and create a beautiful space your guests will love. The staff is super helpful and easy to work with. They go above and Beyond for their clients and to make sure everyone gets the event they dreamed of. I love working at The Room on Main and know if you choose it as your venue you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely Amazing from start to finish!

Stunningly gorgeous venue with floor to ceiling windows & downtown views. One of the things that I love most about this venue is the staff....they are always so kind, professional, friendly and helpful. They truly care and want to make every event/wedding magical for every guest! You will be so happy when you select The Room on Main as your venue! Plus, the caterer, CN Catering has the most delicious food and great staff as well. Melanie

Amazing. That's all I can say to describe this venue.

The minute I walked into The Room on Main, I fell in love with the ballroom for it's large windows and natural light. The venue is indoor and can accommodate a large guest count, which was perfect for our July wedding. I appreciated the fact that the venue exclusively uses CN Catering and provide lighting services and linen rentals, as those were a few less vendors I needed to find on my own. The team provided a great planning timeline for me to reference and was responsive throughout the planning process for any questions or changes I wanted to make. On the day of, the venue was set up exactly as we discussed and was a comfortable temperature all night.

Great Venue & Catering!

I can't say enough great things about The Room on Main and CN Catering. Our entire experience was wonderful. Our guests raved about the venue, food, and of course, the bar. The staff and service was incredible! They exceeded our expectations. The entire planning experience was so smooth. There was a transition of wedding planners while we planned our wedding. I feared this would become an issue, but they didn't skip a beat. This team is extremely professional and works hard to keep their client happy. Highly recommend!!

We were so happy to be able to use the beautiful Room on Main for our wedding reception. The venue is a gorgeous ballroom with amazing floor to ceiling windows across three walls. The natural light is a huge bonus for the room. The gorgeous wood flooring is perfect for a dance floor. Alma was helpful during the planning process addressing all questions promptly and with good detail. The Room on Main requires use of CN Catering for good & drinks. I was actually happy not to have to go and find a caterer on our own. We were also very happy with the service of CN Catering.

The Room on Main was both the first venue we looked at online and the first venue we toured in person. We immediately fell in love with the venue’s grandiose ambiance and it’s elegant, beautifully designed space. Although we did end up looking at a few other venues after our initial visit, we started comparing every venue we toured to the Room and decided we should just stop wasting time and book at the Room before it was too late. And I’m sure glad we did! I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our wedding and the wedding planning process with the Room. Alma was extremely accommodating and was always available to help answer questions and guide us throughout the planning process. I would highly recommend the Room on Main to anyone—you will not be disappoint!
