About
The Crescent Farm Historical Center, known locally as the Rock Barn, is a treasured landmark of Cherokee County, constructed in 1906 by Augustus Lee Coggins. When restoring the barn the vision was to share this historic space with the community. This rustic venue hosts year-round weddings and events.
The exterior appears the same as when it was originally completed in 1906 with unique stone walls built with rocks from the Etowah River. The charming interior has been beautifully renovated to make it suitable for events while still preserving the architectural integrity of a stable. With exposed stone walls, polished concrete floors, and gorgeous wood accents, this spectacular space will provide a stylish backdrop for your ceremony and reception. While the building itself comfortably accommodates 120 people, tents may be set up outside on the lawn to extend the facility. The Rock Barn easily accommodates business meetings, wedding receptions, family reunions and all types of parties.

She is great at communicating and talking us through certain parts of planning. Super knowledgeable about the wedding industry and the history of the barn. I am SO excited to get married here!
Review after wedding: My wedding was 4/25/2021. This was the absolutely perfect venue for us. I have been so ready to finally leave this review. We found this venue after 20+ tours and meetings with so many other venues across GA. I loved all the freedom we had with our vendors (no outside vendor fees). Lauren was just absolutely amazing to work with, she responds so quickly and she answered all the little questions I had.
If you are looking for a beautiful venue to celebrate your big day, THIS IS IT.-

Bethany Married on 02/17/2018I could not have picked a better place to have my wedding! It was a gorgeous blank space for me to use. I added simple flowers, candles, draping and accent lights to create a romantic evening wedding. Joni was so great to work with and so flexible and helpful! I would suggest a guest count of about 120-130 people for the most comfortable fit. For the price and look of the space, you couldn't ask for more! Everything was absolutely perfect.
