Wonderful Venue!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception! First, the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We loved that the cocktail area and the dinner area were separate. The dance floor easily fit most of our guests. Second, the food was great. We got a ton of compliments on it. Everyone's food came out hot and delicious. Third, the service was wonderful. We were shocked by how fast the food came out and how quickly the guests were served at the bar. And finally, Cassi was absolutely exceptional. She made sure the whole planning process was stress-free. We had a few specific things that we wanted, and Cassi made it happen. She responded quickly to any questions we had and truly cared that we had a great experience. We would recommend The Westin (and especially Cassi) to anyone!

Great Experience

Me and my fiance had a great experience with Cassandra. She was quick to respond with my initial contact. She asked for our budget. When we took the tour and received the total cost of everything, she made sure it was under our budget. The venue was more than I imagined it would be. Cassandra is attentive and she always replies quick. Thank you!

We worked with Megan at the Westin and we had an excellent experience! She was responsive, accommodating, personable, and SO SWEET! She was a joy to work with and helped make our wedding exactly what we wanted! Everything went smoothly and we didn't have a worry in the world knowing she was on top of each and every detail! The Westin itself is a beautiful place - right next to the ballpark, with a brick road out front that is great for pictures. It is in an awesome location and is clean, bright, modern, and can be decorated to any style! It worked great for our vintage romantic vibe!! Thanks again - you guys are fantastic!!

After a long engagement/commitment to having our wedding at The Westin Saint Louis, my husband and I can say it's one of the best decisions we've made thus far. The venue is beautiful and unique. Our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I'm sure that had a great deal to do with the staff and accommodations that The Westin provides. Megan was extremely helpful as our day-of coordinator. She was understanding of our needs and helped bring our vision to life. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to celebrate their wedding in style.

My daughter’s wedding reception in June at the Westin could not have been more perfect! For starters, we had over 25 rooms booked (most were locals just wanting the convenience of spending the night) and every guest was impressed by the size and luxury of the rooms, not to mention, the incredible staff. Check-in went perfectly and each guest received their goodie bag as planned.
Now, regarding the reception and cocktail hour in the Promenade Ballroom and Foyer, everything from the setup, to the food, to the service, and flow of the evening was flawless. The Wedding Coordinator, Megan Powell, was a miracle worker making sure that every detail (and there were many) was perfectly executed. Megan worked tirelessly before the wedding to understand what I envisioned and when I walked into the ballroom I was blown away!
The cocktail hour was so much fun with saxophone and piano (on the Westin’s grand piano) serenading us while we sipped signature cocktails and munched on incredible passed hor’doerves. After the guests were seated in the ballroom for the toasts and cake cutting, the food stations were opened. I had been a little nervous about how food stations would work but Megan assured me that everyone would love it, and they did! I cannot believe the number of guests who have since told me that the food was, by far, the best they had ever had at a wedding. The Westin worked with us on the menu making it a one of a kind experience which was absolutely incredible. This was no cookie cutter reception, it absolutely reflected the bride and groom’s personality, and their hopes and dreams for their wedding.
The hotel’s staff could not have been more considerate, more conscientious or more genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. So many made an effort to greet me, extend their congratulations and best wishes, and I am forever grateful for their kindnesses.
I highly recommend the Westin if you are planning a wedding in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed,

Shannon did an amazing job helping us organize our wedding. The Westin was incredibly professional and thoughtful. They were willing to do most things we asked and everything turned out absolutely beautiful.

Do yourself a favor and book the Westin as your wedding venue. The best decision we made while planning our wedding was picking the beautiful Westin hotel’s Promenade ballroom as the location for our ceremony and reception. All of our guests “ooed and “ahhed” at the modern beauty of the venue. The Westin and their wonderful team made our wedding planning and day as painless as possible, from the valet staff to the front desk- who took the time to learn our names and always offer a helping hand. Furthermore, we absolutely could not have had this wedding without the Westin’s catering manager and wedding guru, Heather Tipton. Planning a Kosher Jewish wedding in Saint Louis comes with its challenges. Additional rooms, special requests, cultural differences… Needless to say, a coordinator for the day was essential. Heather was so much more than the “catering manager” – she took care of everything for us – checked in regularly, answered calls and messages within minutes, coordinated with the outside Kosher caterer and his staff, made sure I had something to eat before the ceremony, and had the organizing skills and patience of a saint. Leading up to the wedding, we had nearly every opportunity for stress and mayhem, but Heather always had everything under control and took care of every last detail. My husband and I can’t say enough regarding how impressed we are with Heather’s professionalism, organization, kindness, and understanding to make our day personal to us. Our wedding day would not have been as special without Heather and her remarkable staff.

The Westin is our home away from home (keep in mind, we live in Saint Louis!) We absolutely recommend the Westin to any future brides and grooms. They absolutely over-delivered to what we were expecting, and we really appreciated the hard work and time all the amazing staff put in to make our dream day a reality.

My Husband and I had our wedding reception at the Westin. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. During the time we were planning our wedding, my fiancé and I moved to the UK and were planning a second reception in the UK. Needless to say, my stress level was at an all time high! Heather, the catering manager, made me feel comfortable knowing that the St. Louis reception was in good hands. She was so easy to work with and so flexible, given that most of our interactions had to through email or when I was in town. Our reception was beautiful. The standard linens at the Westin are gorgeous, and the food was phenomenal. We received complements all night from our guests. I would highly recommend the Westin to any Bride to be!

My son was married at the Westin last weekend and the experience couldn't have been better. The venue is beautiful, the staff is responsive and attentive, and the food was better than we imagined it could have been. Heather Tipton was our coordinator, and she was friendly and on top of everything. We had some special requests for food and decorations and she was very helpful in making those happen. A word on the food - I've been to a lot of events and weddings and the food is usually substandard in some way, but the Westin just nailed it. We had both chicken and a petite fillet on the menu, and they were both outstanding.
