The Private Garden Aloha Ke Akua

We had the most amazing wedding weekend at the Private Garden Aloha Ke Akua. Our reception at the Pavilion was everything we had dreamed of — an intimate, beautiful Hawaiian celebration. The view was breathtaking, and the dinner, live musician, and hula performance were all exceptional. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our guests and we enjoyed every single moment.
Our coordinator from Watabe Weddings, Junko, did a wonderful job keeping everything organized and ensuring the day ran smoothly. Since it was a destination wedding, we were initially a bit worried about planning and logistics, but Junko was very communicative and supportive throughout the entire process. She brought our vision to life — when we walked into the reception on the wedding day, we were amazed to see everything exactly as we had imagined.
We also got hair and makeup services for the bridesmaids. We asked for a natural, soft Asian-inspired look, and the beauticians and lead beautician Ayako did an excellent job, my bridesmaids and I were so pleased with how everything turned out.
We also worked with Visionari for photography, and our photographer Joel was fantastic — professional, kind, and incredibly talented. We absolutely love how our photos turned out.
We’re so thankful to have had such a great team making our special day so memorable. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning a fun, intimate wedding on the beautiful island of Oahu!

Great communication from Junko, who was our main liason on the site and worked fantastically with our wedding coordinator. Venue was gorgeous, both the chapel and the reception area, and well within our budget. We considered a lot of potential options and are so glad we made the right choice with Aloha Ke Akua!

The oceanfront scenery at The Private Garden Aloha Ke Akua was breathtaking—lush gardens, turquoise waves, and mountain views made our wedding photos stunning. The service staff was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel like family all day long. Our wedding planner was very responsive and accommodating, handling every detail with ease and aloha spirit. A perfect, stress-free day in paradise! 🌺

From the time we went for our walk thru, to the end of our wedding, we were treated with so much love. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for me. We will be recommending you guys to all our family and friends that may be getting married 😁thanks again🤙🏾

I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding. The venue is stunningly beautiful, the private luau was fantastic, the food was amazing, and everyone worked so hard to make sure the day went off without a hitch. The venue itself is so picturesque, with multiple options for where to perform the ceremony, including a beautiful chapel. The location is about 40 minutes from Waikiki, which allowed for guests to chose accommodations that suited them and offered numerous entertainment and dining options. We chose to have a traditional Hawaiian wedding with a Kahu performing the ceremony, complete with a conch shell beginning to the ceremony. We also decided to have the reception on location with the private luau for our 40ish guests. The performances at the luau were top notch, including a fire dancer! The venue was so helpful with deciding the menu and accommodating a few guests special requests. Our guests commented on how surprised they were at the quality of the meal and how delicious it was. We also had an open bar, and in the words of my father "wow, they make the best mai tai I've ever had!"

Junko worked tirelessly with us over the months of planning, offering suggestions, connecting us with businesses specific for our needs (such as an amazing cake and stunning flowers). Christina was my personal shadow on the big day. I have never felt like such a princess! She made sure there was nothing I needed, that I was comfortable, that my dress was attended to, and that the guests were happy. I can not express how wonderful and helpful she was! We also have two photographers, and Christina was right there making sure my dress was arranged, my hair was perfect and I could walk without trouble. And the pictures are stunning! My guests will talk about this wedding for years as it was a completely unique and beautiful wedding and reception. My husband and I will remember being treated like royalty so we could focus on the moment and our commitment to each other. It was truly a day that dreams are made of. I can not recommend this venue and team enough for future couples.

Other than the venue being the most beautiful everrr. The staff and the manager who was constantly replying to every questions that I ask. Its amazing how patient she was with me and I’m forever grateful. Everything came out perfect I had the most least pressure and they just made everything easy.
