Working with Sam was incredible. I'm not a flower person and know little to nothing about them. But I gave her the colors I wanted, the one flower I for sure wanted, and endless creative freedom. She did not disappoint! The bouquets were gorgeous and I couldn't've dreamed of anything more.

Samantha is the shop owner. She is amazing and knows everything about flowers ! She did my flowers exactly how I wanted them and found me the exact color I wanted. She had great ideas when I was trying to explain to her my vision of what I wanted . She helped pass out all the flowers to everyone who needed them before the ceremony, and set up all my reception flowers for my center pieces and cake. I would strongly recommend her to anyone in need of a great florist !

Great Service!!! I could not ask for a better florist. Samantha was amazing, the church did not clean the floor where I was with my wedding dress and it was dragging all over the dirt, she took the time to clean my dress before the wedding. My son ripped his flower apart before the wedding and she was ready with another one. My girls has flowers in their hair and she made sure they were set and ready to go. Amazing person! My flowers were exactly what I pictured them to be, perfect color and size for my body type.

The Platinum Petal just recently opened business this past June/July 2013. I couldn't imagine having picked a better florist!! OMG I could go on forever!!! The owners are friends with my husband's family, so they were very excited to have us as their first wedding. When I went in there, I told Sam my general ideas and color schemes and showed her some pictures I had on pinterest. I was actually really stressed the day I went in to meet with her, but I left feeling much better about the wedding. She told me I didn't have to have specifics picked out (unless I wanted to), but just to let her know "the feel" of how I wanted things. That was a big relief. She also understood I had a budget, but told me to put down all the flowers I would want for my "dream" wedding and then she could price things out for me. Then I could see a better picture of how things would cost and take out things that weren't in my budget. However, everything was so realistically and wonderfully priced that I didn't have to really take out anything. I ended up finding fake flowers I really liked ahead of time, so that probably took the price down a lot. But I think I paid less that $300 for all the essential flowers including: my bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, and 40 bags of flower petals for people to throw as we walked down the isle, hydrangeas on the gazebo, toss bouquet, and flowers for my cake/cupcake stand. I implemented an additional idea of 10 buckets of baby's breath down the isle which cost an additional $200.

What I loved the most about Sam was how passionate she was about making the florist arrangements. She found cute details on her own, such has vintagy feathers and pearl accents that completely went with the theme I was going for. Even my buckets of baby's breath down the isle, she made sure they were heavy enough to not fall over, covered exposed areas with moss, and tied ivory tulle around the buckets. The flowers were better than I imagined!
