Our wedding at The Pfister Hotel was nothing short of a dream come true, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the service and responsiveness were absolutely impeccable, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable celebration.

The absolute MVP of our entire planning process was our Event Manager, Mickey Skrede. Seriously, Mickey is a magician! His expertise, calm demeanor, and incredible attention to detail made every decision easy and enjoyable. We would trust him to plan any event, ever, for the rest of time. He anticipated our needs, answered every question before we even asked, and seamlessly orchestrated our entire weekend.

Our morning started with pure pampering at The Pfister's Salon and Spa. They did the most amazing job with my bridal makeup and that of my entire bridal party. We all looked absolutely stunning! The mimosas were flowing, and they had us all ready and looking fabulous in a timely fashion. I truly felt like a princess!

The entire staff at The Pfister has it down to a science. The setup and breakdown of everything – from the cocktail hour and ceremony to the reception and even the rehearsal dinner – occurred with such incredible fluidity, the entire day felt seamless. Every staff member was professional, incredibly kind, and attentive. The bartenders, in particular, are hands down some of Milwaukee's best, keeping the celebration lively and our guests happy.

The venue itself is breathtaking which made the recently renovated space more elegant as the backdrop to our wedding.

And then there's the catering – prepare to be amazed! It is genuinely rare for an event with over 120 guests to serve 5-star food, but The Pfister achieved it effortlessly. The filet was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had in my life. Every dish was perfectly cooked, plated so beautifully it looked like a Michelin-star meal, and served in a timely, efficient manner. Both the dinner service and the hors d'oeuvre service were outstanding. We cannot say enough nice things about the catering staff – they were phenomenal. And the dessert table was so beautiful, our guests are still raving about it! To top it all off, the late-night pizzas from their sister hotel, The Saint Kate, were a huge hit, and not a single slice was left.

The Pfister Hotel provided a truly magnificent experience. If you're looking for a venue that delivers unparalleled service, exquisite food, and a truly magical atmosphere, look no further.

We worked with Mickey who was great about answering all of our questions - even the ones we thought were silly. He never made us feel bad for any of our questions and even provided help and suggestions based on previous weddings he's seen / done when we were at a crossroads with an idea / planning step.

Had my wedding here in August 2023. Pfister event manager, Emily, helped me every step of the way! The staff went above and beyond and made us feel like family. Not only did our big day feel like a fairytale..it looked like one too. The atmosphere of the Pfister is absolutely gorgeous!! Food was delicious, service was great, & the rooms were perfect. 100% reccomend this venue!

Overall there were some issues with the venue but the Pfister Hotel was very professional in addressing these when they were presented to management. The assigned wedding coordinator for the Pfister failed to show up for our final walk-through and planning meeting the weekend prior to the wedding, in addition to multiple other issues, which prompted management to bring in a more seasoned person to coordinate the final details. This person was extremely professional and made sure that every detail was handled. Mickey is a true professional who is very passionate about this role and made it a magical day!

Outside of these issues everything else was handled very well:
-The initial food-tasting event was a great event in itself, multiple members of management were on staff in one of the ballrooms to answer any questions and allow you and multiple other guests of your choosing to sample the full menu of options (which is very large).
-Food quality is top notch and the multi-course package added a touch of elegance that our guests will not forget.
-Bar service was very generous with drinks for our guests and more than willing to accommodate requests.
-The venue itself is spectacular and the Pfister was able to accommodate keeping Christmas decor in the lobby through our wedding weekend of January 21st which really elevated the experience.
-The staff was all very professional and did an excellent job assisting our guests and making sure that were treated very well on our big day.

Overall I would highly recommend this venue if it fits your vision of a wedding. Management is very professional and the venue is very elegant. The majority of our guests have not visited Milwaukee previously and staying at this hotel is a memory that is still discussed at every family get-together.

Working with The Pfister Hotel and having our wedding reception there was an absolute dream! I do not think words can adequately describe how amazing planning our wedding was, and then how unbelievable the actual wedding turned out. Amanda was our Event Manager and she was the best person to work with. She was responsive and on top of everything during every second of the planning process and actual reception. I felt like we were in the best hands and our wedding was everything I had dreamed it would be. The food was exactly how it tasted during the tasting a few months before, which was great. The cocktail hour was spacious and so nice. Our reception was in the Grand Ballroom and it was gorgeous. The dance floor was a great size, the room held all of our tables, two bars, and a stage of the band. The service staff for the night was so kind- they even brought me a brand new plate because mine was cold when I sat down to eat after saying hi to people. Amanda made sure everything was perfect. She worked with all the vendors the day of to make sure everyone was able to access the ballroom and set up properly. I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The whole weekend we were at The Pfister we felt so valued and it added to our excitement. Double bonus- they are a dog-friendly hotel so our dog was able to enjoy the weekend with us and the whole staff was so happy to have him there! It was truly the best experience!

Where to begin... I cannot say enough good things about Mickey Skrede & his team at The Pfister Hotel. My husband, family, and I knew very early on during our engagement that we were looking for a reception venue that was traditional, romantic, and that could make things seem like a fairytale. The Pfister was all of that and more. From the initial tour in Jan 2021 to the last minute emails the week of the wedding (July 2022), we were so happy with our decision. Mickey Skrede is hands-down the most professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy event planner you could imagine. Every single detail from appetizers to wine selection to room layout to late night snack options and beyond was exactly what we wanted. Every single guest and family member was wowed and thoroughly impressed with not only the overall look of The Pfister Hotel but also the professional service and friendly personality of all the hotel staff. We had many guests stay the night at The Pfister, and they definitely had a 5 star experience. The Pfister Hotel is well worth every single penny, and our fairytale wedding day couldn't have been complete without it.

Mickey was our venue contact, and he was so great to work with. Mickey helped ensure the room was laid out as we requested, was so helpful with our tasting trial, our catering and bar selections. They worked with our schedule and were so patient with us about making decisions and making sure everything went according to plan. It turned out better than we ever expected!
