There are no words to describe how incredible Sam is! In all honesty, we've been putting off writing this review because it means our time working with her is officially over, which we just don't want to accept. We hired Sam for her full planning package because we were getting married in a different state, and she helped us plan the backyard wedding of our absolute dreams! She is beyond organized, incredibly thorough, and just one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Not only did my husband and I love working with her, but even our families raved about how wonderful Sam and her team were. She helped us find the best vendors (she even set us up with her sister as our videographer - 10/10 would 10000% recommend), we felt so lucky to have such a great team helping us the entire day. If you are thinking of hiring a planner for your day (which was the best decision we ever made) we strongly recommend hiring Sam and her team. They are AMAZING!! from execution and weekend of coordination I could not believe the professionalism. Two months ahead Sam and Cat took full control of working with my vendors which took so much stress off of me. Calm, reassuring, confident, ever-present, enthusiastic, organized, and thoughtful - just about everything you'd hope for in a wedding planner and team. They really did not miss one detail, and always had a backup to a backup to a backup plan in store. Read on to see how they made our day truly perfect.

Nothing we did as a couple was simple or straightforward or went without belaboring every decision. As two brides, we had 2x the vision, opinions, taste, etc, and Sam seamlessly helped us navigate the complexities of that situation throughout the entire process. All the while making us both feel seen and heard at every step. Sam acknowledged that our wedding presented a logistical challenge both for our vision and our venue. We hosted a colorful black-tie al-freso dinner party with tropical house music and live sax. Our goal was for everything (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner) to be outside without coverage (e.g. no tent) which required a rain plan that was more or less a completely different day from a planning perspective (e.g. different locations, layouts, seating charts, timing, rental requirements, etc). To support our dream vision, Sam facilitated detailed communication about both plan A and plan B with every single one of our vendors, removing us from the logistics, while also keeping us involved to the extent that we wanted. Throughout the process, Sam was extremely skillful in managing our expectations, and helping us translate our lofty vision into a reality that we could achieve. She was insanely patient. She never pushed us in a direction, but provided expert guidance that helped us reach a decision on our own. And she found ways to meld both of our visions into a unified aesthetic that resonated for both of us. She always leads with kindness in every conversation, connecting with us like humans more so than clients. As two brides, we are grateful and impressed by her thoughtfulness in word choices and overall ability to create an inclusive environment in a traditionally heteronormative industry. Going into the wedding weekend we felt relaxed and confident in the execution of our day because of Sam's hard work, preparation, and communication. And on the wedding day itself, we had FUN working with Sam and her team. They were attentive and truly made us feel like queens for the day. I cannot recommend The Perfect Match more!! After getting engaged and booking our wedding venue, we felt overwhelmed and wedding planning seemed chaotic. Sam made us feel calm from our very first meeting! Her organization and communication skills are outstanding. She is so talented and knows the wedding industry so well. We had a vendor cancel on us, and we didn’t even know about it until after Sam had secured our refund and had alternative options. Sam and her team make you feel like you are their priority and only couple. After months of wedding planning, Sam and her team felt like family, so it was only natural to have them by our sides on our wedding day. Every couple needs The Perfect Match!

Working with Sam from The Perfect Match Weddings was truly a blessing. My wife and I can't thank her enough for all of her support throughout the wedding planning process, and ESPECIALLY on our wedding day.

During the planning process Sam made sure we were always staying on track. We would meet once a month to go over what had been done and what needed to get done. During each meeting she would give us some homework for what needed to be done before we met next. This eased our anxiety and assured us that we were on track. We could sleep at night knowing that Sam would tell us if we were forgetting some major detail!! Sam always listened to our wants, needs, and wishes, but she also gave her honest feedback whenever needed (I mean she is the professional after all!)

During our rehearsal the night before our wedding Sam was extremely attentive to all of our friends and family, answering everyones last minute questions. She made sure every felt comfortable going into the wedding day. She also didn't bat an eye or make us feel bad about at any last minute changes we wished to make. She is always ready to adapt and make changes when needed!

On our wedding day my wife and I both woke up so relaxed knowing that Sam and her team had everything covered. We got to enjoy our morning getting ready with our friends and family while the TPM team got to work at the venue, bringing our dream to life.

As soon as we arrived at the venue Sam and her team were ready to get us all going. She helped facilitate every single second of the day, and always brought us wherever we needed to be (we truly didn't have to think about anything all day long). Sam quite literally got us off the shuttle when we arrived at the venue and back on the shuttle at the end of the night, and was our go to person for every moment in between.

Sam is extremely professional and has a very calm demeanor which kept us all calm as well throughout the day. When I had a minor dress malfunction Sam immediately jumped in to save the day! Our friends and family can not stop raving about how amazing the TPM team was, and how they truly made our special day run so seamlessly. All of our vendors said that Sam was the BEST wedding planner they had ever worked with. We could NOT have done it without Sam and team, and will be forever grateful for them.

Sam and her team were absolutely amazing. We had the honor to work with Sam for just about 2 years as we took the planning process slowly. She guided us through the entire process and was just a great friend throughout it all. Her knowledge and advice on the little details are unmatched, along with her precision to details. She truly made our planning process enjoyable and manageable. As we did the full planning package, Sam managed the communication with all our vendors and made sure everything was organized for the entire process. Without that, we would have been so lost. Leading up to our wedding, she listened to all thoughts or precautions we had and ensured we had nothing to worry about on our day. The actual day was perfect. Even with the possibility of rain and all the wind, Sam handled everythingi and kept us updated on our plans for the ceremony. In the end, we had the best day of our lives and a huge party, which is exactly what we wanted. We will always recommend Sam and her team in the future.

Working with Sam and the TPM team was the absolute best choice my husband and I made throughout our wedding planning journey. We held our reception at my now husband's family home in Maine, and Sam managed every moving piece seamlessly and with the utmost professionalism! We essentially had to recreate a venue in the backyard to provide a comfortable space for 130 guests, so everything from the tent, rentals, landscape/pathway lighting, power generation, restroom trailers, to drinking water needed to be accounted and planned for. Sam ensured all of those logistics were dealt with/had been thought of, and she executed on all of them the day of.

In addition to event logistics, Sam ensured that our design vision was executed flawlessly the day of, and she was able to steer us to so many great resources as we built the design deck throughout the planning process. I really cannot emphasize enough how helpful she was in the design process, whether it was helping to tie certain looks together or providing inspiration to point me in the right direction to make a final decision, her knowledge repeatedly impressed me.

After every check-in meeting, Sam sends an email that recaps the meeting and lists action items for both the couple and for herself, the latter of which are typically completed right away! Between meetings, Sam was exceptionally responsive and very clearly communicates to her couples when they can expect a deliverable to be completed (whether it is her deliverable or one of your vendor's she's managing) or what the status is on something. All in all, Sam's communication skills are top notch and so many of my other vendors have since told us how much they enjoyed working her, which is HUGE and exactly what you want in a planner on your big day as they lead your carefully curated team of vendors so that the day is a success!

I'll lastly note that we hit some road bumps with one of vendors (none of which we knew about until AFTER the wedding day, which is just one of the many reasons I'm so glad we had Sam in our corner to manage those road bumps so our big day was totally stress free!!) and Sam very professionally communicated those issues to the the vendor and secured us a refund without us having to ask for such request to be made. So even after your wedding day, Sam is still in your corner working in your best interest.

Sam was amazing through out the whole process of wedding planning. We were hesitant to spend money on a wedding planner because our venue came with a day of coordinator. Sam was the best money we spent! She was professional and kind. She was prepared for every situation. She made our wedding day so stress free. Sam was our best investment! She handled everything with the vendors we needed and was so knowledgeable when we had questions about the wedding planning process!

I wish I could give her 10 stars honestly. Absolutely outstanding to work with Samantha and her team. From the planning process to execution day of. This Wedding was a rainy day and all original plans were changed to plan B. I had the pleasure of working Sam and her team on this Wedding. As a Photo Booth company we have seen and worked with tons of event planners however her team was extremely top notch. She was so on point from the planning and communication process to the deliverables and any questions day of she quickly turned to her binder which was so organized and professional. What breathe of fresh air. It was a true pleasure to work beside their team and my team and I look forward to working our next event together!
