There are no words to describe how incredible Sam is! In all honesty, we've been putting off writing this review because it means our time working with her is officially over, which we just don't want to accept. We hired Sam for her full planning package because we were getting married in a different state, and she helped us plan the backyard wedding of our absolute dreams! She is beyond organized, incredibly thorough, and just one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Not only did my husband and I love working with her, but even our families raved about how wonderful Sam and her team were. She helped us find the best vendors (she even set us up with her sister as our videographer - 10/10 would 10000% recommend), we felt so lucky to have such a great team helping us the entire day. If you are thinking of hiring a planner for your day (which was the best decision we ever made) we strongly recommend hiring Sam and her team. You won't find anyone else so committed and so passionate about what they do. Thank you Sam, we adore you!!! -

I found the perfect match through social media. I can’t say enough good things about these girls. They are AMAZING!! from execution and weekend of coordination I could not believe the professionalism. Two months ahead Sam and Cat took full control of working with my vendors which took so much stress off of me. I didn’t have a single issue the day of my wedding or a single worry because of Cat & Kellianne. From helping me with my veil and calming my nerves before walking down the aisle & spraying me with perfume and fixing my lipstick I seriously couldn’t have had a better day because of the perfect match. They seriously did it all!!! My husband and I thank you all so much -

Sam and the entire Perfect Match Team are out of this world. Calm, reassuring, confident, ever-present, enthusiastic, organized, and thoughtful - just about everything you'd hope for in a wedding planner and team. They really did not miss one detail, and always had a backup to a backup to a backup plan in store. Read on to see how they made our day truly perfect.
Nothing we did as a couple was simple or straightforward or went without belaboring every decision. As two brides, we had 2x the vision, opinions, taste, etc, and Sam seamlessly helped us navigate the complexities of that situation throughout the entire process. All the while making us both feel seen and heard at every step. Sam acknowledged that our wedding presented a logistical challenge both for our vision and our venue. We hosted a colorful black-tie al-freso dinner party with tropical house music and live sax. Our goal was for everything (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner) to be outside without coverage (e.g. no tent) which required a rain plan that was more or less a completely different day from a planning perspective (e.g. different locations, layouts, seating charts, timing, rental requirements, etc). To support our dream vision, Sam facilitated detailed communication about both plan A and plan B with every single one of our vendors, removing us from the logistics, while also keeping us involved to the extent that we wanted. Throughout the process, Sam was extremely skillful in managing our expectations, and helping us translate our lofty vision into a reality that we could achieve. She was insanely patient. She never pushed us in a direction, but provided expert guidance that helped us reach a decision on our own. And she found ways to meld both of our visions into a unified aesthetic that resonated for both of us. She always leads with kindness in every conversation, connecting with us like humans more so than clients. As two brides, we are grateful and impressed by her thoughtfulness in word choices and overall ability to create an inclusive environment in a traditionally heteronormative industry. Going into the wedding weekend we felt relaxed and confident in the execution of our day because of Sam's hard work, preparation, and communication. And on the wedding day itself, we had FUN working with Sam and her team. They were attentive and truly made us feel like queens for the day. To summarize, if you're looking for a planner that is creative, patient, kind, inclusive, and a joy to work with, hire Sam and The Perfect Match Weddings! -

Hiring TPM was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From start to finish, Sam and her team brought a level of organization, attention to detail, and calm confidence that made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable.
Sam’s so organized and always one step ahead -- from confirming meal selections and finalizing rental orders to managing all the little details we might’ve missed. We trusted her completely, and she never gave us a reason to feel anything but fully taken care of. Come wedding day, we were able to truly be present and soak in every moment because we knew Sam and her team had everything under control.
Even when the rain decided to show up, they pivoted to our backup plan without missing a beat. The transition was seamless, and they somehow managed to keep everything looking intentional and beautiful — without ever breaking a sweat!
If you’re looking for a team who will not only execute your vision flawlessly, but also make you feel like the most supported, cared-for version of yourself, TPM is it. (Special s/o to Kellianne for being my bridal fairy godmother. She always seemed to pop up right when I needed a spray of perfume, lip gloss touch up, a tissue to dry my tears, or even a blotter for make up when the dance floor was heating up.... she was everywhere all at once!)

I cannot recommend The Perfect Match more!! After getting engaged and booking our wedding venue, we felt overwhelmed and wedding planning seemed chaotic. Sam made us feel calm from our very first meeting! Her organization and communication skills are outstanding. She is so talented and knows the wedding industry so well. We had a vendor cancel on us, and we didn’t even know about it until after Sam had secured our refund and had alternative options. Sam and her team make you feel like you are their priority and only couple. After months of wedding planning, Sam and her team felt like family, so it was only natural to have them by our sides on our wedding day. Every couple needs The Perfect Match! -

Sam and her team were absolutely amazing. We had the honor to work with Sam for just about 2 years as we took the planning process slowly. She guided us through the entire process and was just a great friend throughout it all. Her knowledge and advice on the little details are unmatched, along with her precision to details. She truly made our planning process enjoyable and manageable. As we did the full planning package, Sam managed the communication with all our vendors and made sure everything was organized for the entire process. Without that, we would have been so lost. Leading up to our wedding, she listened to all thoughts or precautions we had and ensured we had nothing to worry about on our day. The actual day was perfect. Even with the possibility of rain and all the wind, Sam handled everythingi and kept us updated on our plans for the ceremony. In the end, we had the best day of our lives and a huge party, which is exactly what we wanted. We will always recommend Sam and her team in the future. -

Perfect Planner
We hired Sam over two years ago for my daughter's wedding. While 2+ years seems like a long time, Sam was available to us from day one. In the beginning we would have check in meetings every so often, to go over what we had accomplished and what we still needed to focus on. As we got closer to the big day, we had monthly check in meetings. I would text Sam whenever I had a question during the process and she was always very responsive and gave good suggestions. I told my husband that her services were a gift to myself, since I work full time and wanted to ensure I had someone to keep me in check during this process so I wouldn't forget anything. I'm not sure I would have survived this process without her assistance. She created a detailed timeline we followed for the rehearsal and the wedding. Everything was so well organized, I didn't have to worry about a thing on wedding day. She took control and coordinated when all vendors should arrive and set up. Sam and her assistant, went to the venue early in the morning to set up, came to the house to check in on us for a bit to ensure we were still on schedule, and then went off to the church to set that up. I was able to enjoy my daughter's wedding and not worry about the little details. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her services. -

Perfection
I knew the moment I met Sam and saw her and her amazing team in action at my cousins wedding that I needed this team for my wedding! The organization, the communication, and the professionalism from this team is flawless! From the rehearsal to the day of—they did not miss a beat! The execution of the day was perfect! Lily was so amazing on the day of our wedding—going with the flow, and keeping us on track! I don’t think I know anyone more disorganized or indecisive than myself—thank god for this team who was able to help me make decisions! Had it not been for these great girls, I’m not really sure how the day would have gone! So thankful and appreciative of this team! -

Best Decision We Made!
Hiring Sam to assist with planning our wedding was by far the best decision we made! By the time we found Sam, we had already found the perfect venue to match our style and personalities as well as a number of vendors, but the venue coordinator was not pulling her weight and we needed help bringing everything together - both from a design and coordination perspective. Sam was the perfect solution. She came in originally to assist with planning up to day of, but we quickly trusted her more than our venue coordinator and asked her to act as a second day of coordinator as well. I personally could not have imagined my day without her!
In the planning stage, Sam really went the extra mile. She navigated a tricky relationship with our venue as a second "outside" coordinator. She was always responsive when we had questions or when we wanted to brainstorm design ideas, despite my very busy work schedule resulting in a lot of off-hour conversations. She assisted with locating the last few vendors we needed and seamlessly coordinated all vendors throughout the planning process. But most memorable to both me and my husband is how much Sam supported our wishes for our day - she truly worked hard to ensure our wedding was what WE wanted, helping us navigate tricky venue rules and venue coordinator pushback.
On the day of our wedding, Sam made sure that everything went according to plan and matched our wishes. She assisted both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen, ensured that everything was in it's place with our intended design, and assisted us throughout photos, the ceremony, and the reception. She helped me with my dress change (which required removal of a tricky overskirt) and discussed the ceremony process multiple times with our officiant (a friend) to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. Despite a last minute noreaster threatening to delay multiple vendors and guests, she stayed in town the night before and helped make sure everything stayed on track. Both our family and friends say that our wedding was so beautiful and memorable because it truly felt like us. Sam's hard work, ideas and support made that possible.
I often get asked the following: "Everyone has at least one thing that went wrong on their wedding day, what's yours?" and I always answer that I genuinely can't think of one because our day was PERFECT - and we owe that to Sam. -

Sam did a fantastic job helping us as our Day of Coordinator! Sam helped us tremendously the month leading up to our wedding day and was involved in helping coordinate all of our vendors, helped finalize and distribute the wedding timeline, and made sure we didn't miss out on any details! All that work leading up to the wedding really helped make our day a big success. She paid careful attention to detail, and made suggestions about some things that we wouldn't have thought of.
On our wedding day, everything went very smoothly, and we were able to relax and have a great time. We really can't imagine what it would have looked like without her and her crew. Sam has a wonderful kind energy that made her a joy to work with. And her team was also super friendly and accommodating. They were always there to see if we needed anything, and made sure we had some snacks and a beverage when it seemed like we had no time to grab anything ourselves.
We would highly recommend Sam and The Perfect Match for your wedding!
