Enchanting mountain scenery is the highlight of the Peaks’ flagship wedding venue, The Crystal Room Combination. Elegant and contemporary in style, this venue is ideal for couples who love the mountains and don’t want to sacrifice comfort and luxury for their guests. Featuring three distinct spaces on one level for effortless transitions throughout the celebration, The Crystal Room Combination is spacious and versatile hosting up to 200 of your cherished guests. Begin your life together with a spectacular wedding at The Peaks Resort & Spa in Telluride, Colorado. Exchange vows overlooking the stunning views of the San Juan Peaks surrounding the Resort. The Peaks will transform your special day into a one-of-a-kind wedding celebration for you and your guests.


Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 200 guests at this mountain resort. They have multiple settings for both your ceremony and reception, which include:

  • Mt. Wilson Terrace - Recently renovated with a floating ceramic tile wood grain decking, the Mount Wilson Terrace offers sunset views of the San Juan Mountains as you say your “i do's.” This picturesque space flows into the Crystal Room and Legends Restaurant for your reception.
  • Altezza Deck - located on Lobby Level just off of the Great Room & Altezza Restaurant. The Altezza Deck features low glass walls, allowing a perfect view of Mount Wilson in the backdrop.
  • The Crystal Room Combination - features floor-to-ceiling windows, flagstone floors and beautiful lighting. Couples will have access to all the other locations on A-Level with this option.
  • Legends Dining Room - Recently renovated to make this contemporary space very versatile with muted tones and sheer window panels to soften the space. Able to accommodate seated plated or buffet style service dinner events.
  • Appaloosa Lounge - perfect for intimate weddings or can be used as the Main Bar and Lounge for all events.
  • Altezza Restaurant - features ebony wood floors and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the San Juan Mountains. It flows directly onto the Altezza deck, creating a perfect indoor/outdoor option. For additional seating, you can add on the Great Room Deck.

Perfect in every way!

There are not enough words to adequately praise Kristen Booher, Wedding and Events Manager at the Peaks Resort. Kristen worked so hard to make us feel special and well taken care of. She always had a big smile on her face and a compassionate, determined attitude. Due to the Corona Virus we were unable to have our dream wedding in Telluride at The Peaks. With our extreme emotions and stress, Kristen literally brought the only ray of sunshine we could see. With her high integrity, thoughtfulness, and hard work she got us through a very disappointing time. With no fault of anyone's, she showed such compassion and kindness to our family and worked with us to make everything right. Our family will always have a very special place in our hearts for Kristen and The Peaks. Cal was amazing to take great care of us in regards to the room blocks and our guests booking questions. He is one of a kind also. We are heartbroken that due to the COVID19 we can't have this amazing team be a part of our daughters special day. It won't be the same without them. We wish we could bring them to Texas with us. We would HIGHLY recommend Kristen and The Peaks and know without a doubt that they would make everything perfect for whomever they were working with. Peaks Resort is lucky to have Kristen handling their wedding and events.....she is amazing!

We had a fantastic wedding and reception at the Peaks. Gigi is awesome to work with and the views, of course, were incredible. We've had so many people tell us how great the food was and that it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they've ever been to!

I recently was married and had my reception at the Peaks! The staff at the peaks truly made the day amazing! The staff at the reception made sure everything was running smooth and went out of the way to make us feel special! Gigi was amazing to work with! She is such a positive person and it shows that she loves her job! She went above and beyond what I would have expected! I will remember my wedding day forever and how perfect The Peaks made it! Thank you

My husband and I got married this July and had our reception at the Peaks. We had a large group of 180 people traveling from all over the country, most of which chose to stay at the Peaks and absolutely loved the amenities, service and stunning views.

Gigi, the Peaks wedding coordinator and events planner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was unique, and exactly what we wanted.

I may be bias, but it was the best wedding I have ever been to. From the stunning views, great food and drinks, wonderful service and space, it was magical for every single guest. I would not change a SINGLE thing about the evening. I am so happy that we chose to get married at the Peaks. They were incredible from the beginning of the planning process, through the night of the wedding. If financially possible, I would do this every single year.

I would strongly encourage anyone looking to get married in Telluride, especially with a large group, to get married at the Peaks.

We worked with Robin from The Peaks Resort & Spa to reserve a room block for our guests. Not only is this hotel located in the heart of Mountain Village it also has a ton of amenities we knew all of our guests would love plus the room rates were significantly lower than any other hotel in Mountain Village. Booking was a breeze and they worked very hard to ensure the guests that requested Early Check-In the day of the wedding could be accommodated.

We also worked with Gigi to organize our Rehearsal Lunch in the Crystal Room. Gigi is great to work with and promptly responded to emails or voicemails. The views from the Crystal Room are gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the service staff was great! We were so happy, we arranged them as a secondary location for our wedding ceremony in the event the torrential downpour continued the next day. Thankful it didn't but we were happy Gigi was so accommodating!

In addition, we booked hair and makeup for the Bridal Party at the Spa. My Maid of Honor worked closely with Darla to develop a schedule to ensure everyone was ready on time and looked gorgeous. We were able to reserve the entire salon, order food, drink mimosas and just enjoy the experience of getting ready with your favorite girls on the day of the wedding. Cynda (makeup), Linda (hair), and Catherine (hair) did such an amazing job! We all received compliments on our hair and makeup. These ladies were great to work with and I highly recommend them!

We had a great experience with The Peaks Resort & Spa and look forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you so much :)

We recently got married in Telluride, CO and had our reception on the Wilson Terrace at The Peaks Resort. The Peaks, and particularly Gigi, was wonderful. Gigi worked with every request we had. We desperately wanted cafe lights outside over the terrace, which had never been done before and she worked her magic to get us cafe lights. She also worked with us to get a perfect layout for the reception and dancing. And she even had a full interior room set up in case of rain (which we ended up needing because it was too cold to sit outside). And to top the entire evening off, the food was amazing!! Everyone is still talking about it. The views from the Peaks are breath-taking - with Wilson setting the perfect backdrop for a sunset first dance! If you're getting married in Telluride - definitely check out the Peaks, you won't be disappointed. It was so fun to have all of our guests in one place and to spend the day by the pool!

The view from this venue is amazing! The staff is easy to deal with and very accommodating. If I had to do it all over again, I would not change anything with our wedding - would host it again here in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Peaks in July 2014. To sum it up, I will use the words of some of our guests, "The most beautiful wedding I have ever been to; wedding of the century!"

We looked at just about every possible venue in the Telluride area, and couldn't be happier that we chose The Peaks. The Peaks' staff, especially their Wedding Coordinator, Gigi, took care of our every need and made planning the wedding much easier than if we had done it anywhere else. The Peaks was the perfect combination of amazing views, an elegant atmosphere, and convenience and versatility in how they set up all of the different rooms (in the Crystal Room combination) for us.

Six weeks later, our wedding guests are still raving about the food, views, sunset, and overall experience they had at The Peaks.

We will forever be grateful to you for the SPECTACULAR RECEPTION you coordinated and directed at the Peaks Resort for our wedding on Saturday. We couldn't have been more delighted with attention to every detail that contributed an absolutely awesome evening! The setting on the terraces and in the Palmyra Room was simply breathtaking. To a person, the appetizers and meal were considered to be among the absolute best ever served at a wedding dinner. The service was SUPERB. There are few moments in a family's life where you want PERFECTION for one of life's soaring moments and YOU AND YOUR STAFF NAILED IT! Please know of our profound appreciation for you and your A TEAM! If you ever want anyone to sing your praises to others, you can count on us.
