Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, next to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, The Vieux provides a wedding venue in the heartlands of the forested central-southeast with breathtaking mountain views. Owners Kathryn & Wendell Tanner have enjoyed renovating many cabins and want to create the ultimate comfort and luxury for all their guests. The company was established in 2016 when they bought their very first cabin so they could recharge in the pleasant surroundings of the natural world. Throughout the properties, there is a genuine emphasis on homeliness, with the well-thought-out design, rustic and plush furnishings, and on site cabins to house your loved ones during your wedding festivities.
Facilities and Capacity
The property features five additional cabins and 3 rental units for up to 34 additional guests. The Vieux cabin can sleep up to 20 of your guests, and with a 2 or 3-night rental, the venue is free. You can extend your celebrations to make the most of your special day or honeymoon on the property in a cozy cabin. You and your guests can indulge in the rugged beauty of the mountains, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and you'll also find a small pavilion and outdoor chapel where you can hold an open-air ceremony framed by the mountains.
Services Offered
The property, complete with a wedding venue and overnight lodgings, is the ideal all-inclusive* space to hold your nuptial celebrations. You can tie the knot by the pavilion, in the outside chapel or directly in front of the mountain view, followed by an outdoor reception or retreat to the cabin for a cozy get-together. You can invite your selected vendors to the location for an even more unique aesthetic for your occasion. They also have a DJ that they work with directly.

Rain or Shine
Even when the weather forced us to move our ceremony from outside to inside, the transition was handled seamlessly. The indoor space was stunning, and everything came together effortlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy the moment without stress.
We could not be happier with our experience and are so grateful we chose this venue. It was the perfect setting for our wedding, and we would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to celebrate their day.
Wedding Celebration
The Mustard Seed Venue allowed us to plan EVERYTHING. From the ceremony spaces, items on the menu to the tiny decor details. The autumn ambiance of the outdoor and indoor areas were so beautiful by itself, that it needed minimal decor. We were able to host an evening ceremony in the backyard, the reception in the dinning hall and had our families lodging all in one cabin.
Our family complimented on the beauty of the wedding and their unforgettable stay at The Vieux. Our families felt comforted and at home.
Over a year and a half of planning, Mrs. Tanner(property owner) guided us every step of the way. For every question, Mrs. Tanner was always available to offer multiple resources to make our dream wedding come true. Mrs. Tanner was attentive and exceptionally understanding.
The Mustard Seed Venue is one-of-a-kind and we recommend it to all future wedding couples. Our review comes from a place of appreciation and gratitude. If we had to replan the wedding all over, we would choose the Mustard Seed Venue every time!

Not only are the owners so helpful, they will do anything they can to make your day special! They came to check on us, helped us find everything we needed, and gave us well wishes and prayers we so appreciated!
The venue itself is amazing! Again, think of the epitome of a cabin in Pigeon Forge with a great view of the mountains and you’ve got the Mustard Seed. The overlook in which we did the ceremony was just beautiful! The cabin that we stayed in and had our reception at was equally as spectacular! With the cabin being only a few minutes from the strip, your guests can stay anywhere and still be close!
Book this venue!! You will not regret it and your day will be everything you dreamed of and more!
